And while some fans have so far prioritized energy efficiency with their designs, others opted to focus on comicalTears of the Kingdomcontraptions like ridiculously long planes, dance floors, and enemy-powered rain sensors.

The newly emerged unicycle design by Reddit user divlogue falls somewhere between those two categories. While the machine wouldn’t look out of place in a slapstick comedy, it boasts a rather clever design that only utilizes a handful of components and is fairly energy efficient. The contraption rolls on a single wooden cartwheel connected to a Zonai Steering Stick via a makeshift axle consisting of a hook fused to a Savage Lynel Shield. A single fan provides the unicycle with acceleration, while a Zonai Stabilizer ensures that thisunusualTears of the Kingdomvehiclestays upright while in use.
While divlogue could have feasibly simplified thisTears of the Kingdommachine by using a Big or Small Zonai Wheel, they presumably opted for a wooden cart wheel powered by a fan because the end result of that setup looks much closer to a classic unicycle design. A fan-propelled cart wheel is also fairly agile, as evidenced by a brief video demonstration of the contraption shared on Reddit.
The same gameplay clip also confirmed that the unicycle is pretty energy efficient, revealing that a single Energy Cell is enough to keep it powered for some 15 seconds. Assuming the player maxes out Link’s battery reserves, they could keep this unicycle rolling for roughly four consecutive minutes without having to use consumables.
This nimble unicycle serves as yet another testament to the incredibly versatile nature ofTears of the Kingdom’sbuilding mechanics. The vehicle also stands out from recent community creations by virtue of not using a guard rail, a uniquely floaty component that completely changed the game’s building meta ever since it was discovered in early July, inspiring oneTears of the Kingdomplayer to improve the classic hoverbike design. Ever since then, many fans have been focused on experimenting with the guard rail in order to build more efficient flying contraptions, which consequently reduced the number of new land vehicle designs that made their way online in recent weeks.
