In that crafted vein,Yoshi’s Crafted Worldoffers tons of collectible costumes for Yoshi to wear. There are 185 costumes to unlock in total and one of the best costumes by far is the Trash Bin costume. It dresses Yoshi up in a green trash can with a lid and it’s as adorable as it is hilarious.
What is the Trash Bin Costume inYoshi’s Crafted World?
The Trash Bin costume inYoshi’s Crafted Worldis ranked as a “normal” costume. It has three bars which means that whenYoshi has the costume equipped, the little green character can withstand three additional hits from enemies. It pretty much functions like armor.
There are other costume ranks, such as Rare and Super Rare. The costumes themselves aren’t really that rare, as there’s only one place that you’re able to get them and only one of each costume in the world.
How to Unlock the Trash Bin Costume
The majority of the costumes inYoshi’s Crafted Worldcan be unlocked through the game’s gumball machines. In every level on the game’s map, there will be a gumball machine with 10 different drops. The gumball machine drops are notloot boxesand there are no duplicates - you just pay 200 coins for every drop and get a new costume. With the exception of secret and amiibo-related costumes, most of the costumes in the game can be unlocked through the gumball machine.
To unlock the trash bin costume inYoshi’s Crafted World, you’ll want to head to the gumball machine at Sunshine Station. You’ll have to put up to 2,000 coins in the machine in order to unlock the Trash Bin costume (10 capsule drops x 200 coins).
If you don’t have enough coins, then it’s not too difficult to get them. InYoshi’s Crafted World, players can earn coinsare acquired by playing and replaying levels. There are already lots of good reasons to replay levels in the game. One of these is the fact that you can play levels backward to see the reverse side of the crafted props, seeing where bits of cardboard are being held up. It’s a nice touch in an already charming game.
