However, Kongming puts into action a plan to draw people to Eiko. At first, he draws people in with free drinks, then alters the atmosphere to make leaving difficult. As the visitors stay behind, they end up enjoying Eiko’s performance and stay of their own volition. By the end of the performance, Eiko has a massive crowd, and Kongming is able to earn the owner’s trust.
6Convincing Kabetaijin To Come Out Of Retirement
Despite being a three-time champ in “DRB,” Kabetaijin lacked a lot of self-confidence. The pressure and stress from now being considered a top performer gave him a painful stomach ulcer that caused him to ultimately retire from competition. However, it was clear that he still wanted to rap, but no longer believed he had the skill to do so.

Ultimately, it took prodding from Kongming, as well as the promise of a wish, for Kabetaijin to finally come back. Not wanting to sing their throat-straining signature song, Jet Jacket is unable to keep most of the crowd as they head to Eiko’s stage instead.
4Crashing Azalea’s Surprise Concert
As part of their plan to win the 100,000 Likes Project, Azalea announces a surprise concert in Shibuya and offers a large giveaway to fans who come and give Azalea likes. The plan is sure to be a major success, thanks toAzalea’s general popularity as an idol group.

However, Kongming predicts their plan and has Eiko set up her own stage in the place where Azalea was planning to perform, managing to trick the Azalea fans into giving them likes. Though they are unable to hit the 100,000 mark before Azalea arrives, Eiko’s impassioned performance afterward allows her to reach her goal. Despite being a little dirty, Eiko is able to get one over on an established group like Azalea.
3Secretly Streaming Azalea’s Performance
After seeing Eiko’s incredible performance, Nanami and the rest of Azalea feel like abandoning the songs and persona they’ve been forced to use and go back to the indie rock that they played when they were just starting out. They perform one of their old songs on the stage after Eiko’s song to a crowd that is much smaller than they’d had before.
Despite this, their earnestness is rewarded, as Kongming reveals that he has been streaming their performance on the internet. Though Karasawa believes that Azalea could not make it with the music they wanted to play, Kongming’s secret maneuver proves that people want to hear Azalea’s performances as they shoot past 100,000 likes as well. Though this was unnecessary for Eiko’s success, it showed the members of Azaleathey could pursue their dreams the way they wanted.
2Kongming’s Three Gifts To Eiko
During the time leading up to Kongming’s execution of his plan to get 100,000 likes, Eiko goes to make a recording of her new song. Before she does, Kongming gives her three gifts and tells her to open them in order only when she needs them. The items themselves seem odd out of context: a note telling her to buy two cups of pudding, a permit to perform on the streets, and a ticket for the observation deck at Shibuya Sky Square.
However, each item allows Eiko to improve as a singer; the pudding allows her to get on DJ Steve Kido’s good side, while the permit and ticket allow her to get closer to Nanami Kuon, who is secretly the lead singer of Azalea. While it’s unknown just how much Kongming predicted the events of Eiko’s journey,his level of preparedness is truly amazing.
