The update implements general stability improvements, ensuring that the game performs as intended on each platform. According to the patch notes, the update also addresses concerns that players had about MyFACTION leaderboards, ring announcers in title matches, and the auto complete function in MyGM. Going forward, players should not have issues about MyFACTION leaderboards not loading in correctly, and the “None” setting for ring announcers in title matches should now work properly after installing update 1.06. The bug that prevented players from bookingWWE 2K24superstars in MyGMon different tag teams after using the auto complete function is now fixed as well.
The patch notes also state that “more” issues were addressed inWWE 2K24update 1.06. However, Visual Concepts did not elaborate on what else was fixed or adjusted in the latestWWE 2K24patch notes. Many more updates forWWE 2K24will be released in 2024, and players may continue to report issues they find along the way to Visual Concepts and 2K’s support channels. These updates will be crucial towardsthe release ofWWE 2K25, as 2K and Visual Concepts continue to improveWWE 2K’ssignature gameplay and realistic wrestler models.
Moreover,the first DLC forWWE 2K24will be released on May 15, featuring CM Punk and several superstars from the iconic ECW brand. Four more DLC packs will be released between June and November 2024. Players who own theWWE 2K24Season Pass will gain access to all five post-launch DLC packs as soon as they’re made available.
