Wuthering Wavesis an action RPG game that heavily relies on teamwork. Up to three characters can join one team and synergize together to clear the game content. While synergizing, these characters must also have a variety of skills to maintain a balance between their combat offensive and defensive approaches.
As a main DPS who stays on the field for a longer duration than most characters, Jiyan needs a team that can work around that. He’s also very aggressive after entering his Qingloong Mode, so a healer or a shielder is a must-have in any ofJiyan’steamsinWuthering Waves.
2Jiyan + Mortefi + Verina
One of the reasons why Jiyan is considered one ofthe best DPS inWuthering Wavesis because of his amazing partnership with Mortefi. When casting Mortefi’s Resonance Liberation, he will coordinate his attacks with Jiyan from the off-field, especially when getting his S4, which increases his Ultimate duration. Furthermore, Jiyan mainly relies on his Heavy ATKs to deal DMG, and Mortefi’s Outro Skill greatly buffs that multiplier.
Since Mortefi and Jiyan are all offensive with no room for healing abilities, ahealer inWuthering Wavescould be immensely helpful. In this team, the best is Verina because, on top of her healing, she grants universal ATK% and DMG% buffs that benefit both main and sub-DPS.
Jiyan Team Roles
1Jiyan + Aalto + Jianxin
HavingMortefi in any Jiyan team inWuthering Wavesis always recommended. However, if, for any reason, Mortefi doesn’t make it into Jiyan’s team, you may always go full Aero team, with Aalto and Jianxin joining in the fun. This team doesn’t need a healer since Jianxin is more than capable of shielding Jiyan while in his Ultimate duration. Her shield lasts for a while, and she also slightly heals the on-field shielded character. With a good number of dodges, there should be no problem.
Aalto’s Outro Skill works with all of Jiyan’s attacks since it’s a general Aero DMG buff. While this buff isn’t as good as Mortefi’s Heavy ATK buff, it’s still useful, especially when Jiyan is building his Resonance Liberation outside his Qingloong Mode.
