Players on theWorld of Warcraft: Dragonflightbeta have discovered a new transformation mount they can earn by completing some secret tasks. Unlike most other mounts inWorld of Warcraft, transformation mounts turn characters into the mount, rather than simply riding atop it.The new mount is called the Divine Kiss of Ohn’ahra, and is in the shape of a great white eagle. It can be earned on the Ohn’ahran Plains, one of the new zones on the Dragon Isles. In order to unlock it, players will need to reach Renown level nine with the Maruuk Centaur, one of themajor factions inDragonflight. Though the mount is technically a secret, earning it is relatively simple, and can be completed by players without too much grinding.RELATED:World of Warcraft Shares Dragonflight Pre-Patch Phase Two Patch NotesDuring the Sneaking Out quest from theMaruuk Centaur Renown questline inDragonflight, players will meet a Godoloto, an eagle NPC using the same model as the mount. After the quest, Godoloto will move to the Ohn’iri Springs, where she then gives a cryptic hint indicating she is “seeking different air.” By bringing Godoloto three Stolen Breath of Ohn’ahra, looted from the Nokhud Offensive dungeon, one Essence of Awakening, purchasable by the Maruukai Renown vendor, and one Exultant Incense, craftable by alchemists, players can approach the Wild God Ohn’ahra herself and receive the special mount.

The Divine Kiss of Ohn’ahra mount is one of the few mounts that transform a character into a mount, rather than simply mounting up on it. Unfortunately, unlike other transformation mounts like the Obsidian Nightwing or Sandstone Drake, players cannot carry an ally on their back with the Divine Kiss of Ohn’ahra. Additionally, the new mount is not a Dragonriding mount, so players can only use it in areas where normal flying is enabled. Nevertheless, the Divine Kiss of Ohn’ahra is a must-have for collectors, especially since it is comparatively easier to get than some ofthe rarest mounts inWorld of Warcraft.

The second phase of theDragonflightpre-patch is imminent. Once it drops on November 15, players will be able to create dracthyr Evoker characters, participate in the Primal Storms world event, and experience Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr, the firstDragonflightdungeon. The last phase of the pre-patch will drop alongside aWorld of Warcraft: Dragonflightpre-launch stream featuring the launch cinematicof the new expansion pack.Dragonflightlaunches two weeks after the pre-patch, so players won’t have to wait long to collect their very own Divine Kiss of Ohn’ahra mount and explore the Dragon Isles.
