If you’ve playedAstro’s Playroomand are looking for more stuff to do, you’re in luck. The developers have recently started to put out a series of small updates to the game that have added special trapped bots in various locations. These Bots aren’t that simple to rescue, like the first one that featured theHunter from FromSoftware’sBloodborne.
The next special trapped bot to find is located in theSSD Speedway area ofAstro’s Playroom. If you’ve updated your game to the most recent version, a message will appear on-screen that tells you where theSpecial Bot can be found, but you’ll need to use this guide to find out exactly where it is in the stage.

How to Rescue the Special Bot in SSD Speedway in Astro’s Playroom
Deja Phew Trophy Guide
First things first, you’ll need to open the pause menu and fast-travel toSSD Speedway’s Deep Dataspacesection. Once the level begins, you need to progress through the area until you reach a barrier that must be shot down using the Gatling gun.
You’ll need to pull some wires to reveal a chest, and the gun will be inside. However, before you shoot the wall down and fight the enemies, stand on the ledge to the left of the Gatling gun box, and a trapped Bot will appear.

You can see the exact location of the ledge in the images below:
Once you make the Bot appear, continue on the path forward and shoot the monsters ahead of you. However, once you reach the end of the corridor with the green slime-looking creatures, leave them alive and go around them until you can walk on the raised platforms above the path you just walked through.
It’s small, but keep walking on the path, and you will see an astronaut doll. Stand on top of it and wait until the green monsters kill you. Do this once, and the trapped bot will be freed, rewarding players with theDeja Phew trophy.
Returnal’s Connection to Astro’s Playroom
It’s worth noting that the trapped robot’s design in SSD Speedway is based on a woman named Selene, the main character of Housemarque’s PS5/PC roguelike,Returnal.Astro’s Playroompays homage to dozens of otherPlayStation properties with Easter eggsand even an entire room filled with peripherals from the PS1 days to the current PS5 era. You might spot a bot that looks just like Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series or another resembling the mech-dinosaur-killing heroine Aloy from theHorizonfranchise.
