Luckily, the developer recently posted a not-so-subtle tease as to what fans can expect from Update 21. While plenty of its content remains under wraps and it’s uncertain if the update will be as big as Update 20 or not, the below teaser confirms thatOne Piece’s Kitsune Fruit is set to come toBlox Fruitsin the next update. This is corroborated by the fact that the developer’s 2023 roadmap showed a fruit believed to be the Kitsune Fruit, and it’s likely the form shown in the image below is what fans can expect the form to look like once it releases.
When Will Blox Fruits Update 21 Release?
The biggest question, right now, iswhenBlox Fruitswill release Update 21. The good news is that it’s rather narrowed down, as the aforementioned roadmap heavily suggested that it would be in November. There’s not much time now, either, and it wouldn’t make sense to delay it right now given the recent teaser. This, coupled with the fact that mostBlox Fruitsupdates release on the weekend, narrows it down to November 24, November 25, or November 26. Following Update 20’s release on a Saturday, November 25 is the likeliest date for Update 21.
Blox Fruits: What does the Kitsune Fruit Do?
Catarina Devon uses thisdevil fruit inOne Pieceto impersonate Absalom and trick Gecko Moria. This devil fruit allows users to become a Kitsune, which is a fox with nine large tails. In this way, it is not unlikeKurama from Naruto. Users of the Kitsune Fruit gain the abilities of a Kitsune, which allows them to fully disguise themselves as anyone they wish.
It remains to be seen what this does inBlox Fruits, but it’ll likely allow users to assume aKitsune formand perhaps even copy enemies or allies. It is likely to be useful in Raid Boss fights, though how it helps with grinding, sea events, or general gameplay remains to be seen.
Fans will just have to wait and see how the Kitsune Fruit shakes out, but it shouldn’t be a long wait at this point.
