NavigatingWarframe’sUndercroft can be a daunting prospect, especially as enemies level up and objectives get harder to complete. Though the Undercroft was only added withWarframe’srecent Duviri Paradox update, it’s an extremely popular mode for new and endgame players alike.

The mode offers weekly rewards: Warframes and their requisite components for the easier path, and special Incarnons to buff up weapons on the Steel Path. Players who want to create builds for highly mobile Warframes are going to want to choose special decrees in thisroguelike game mode. These are the best movement decrees inWarframe.

Warframe Tumbling Frost decree chosen.

9Tumbling Frost

Rolling is a great way to minimize the player’s hitbox and get out of a sticky situation. Sometimes, when a player is surrounded, this is the only choice they have to make it out alive. The Tumbling Frost decree lets players capitalize on these quick exits.

This decree makes players drop a frost bomb upon rolling, exploding, and doing small amounts of damage to nearby enemies. More importantly, enemies areafflicted by the cold status, slowing them down. Players should have ample time to reposition after the frost bomb goes off.

Warframe Tactical Repositioning decree takes effect as Excalibur Umbra rolls forward.

8Tactical Repositioning

A decree that goes hand-in-hand with Tumbling Frost, Tactical Repositioning is a defensive movement decree that helps players recoup losses on their health. Upon taking damage, players with this decree will be able to immediately roll to recover a portion of the health lost to enemy attacks.

The percentage of health earned back scales with the number of times players have picked this decree, but it ranges from anywhere between 25-75%. That’s a solid chunk of health that can be gained back from a simple evasive maneuver.

Warframe Ranger’s Reload decree in action as Volt Warframe performs a roll in the air.

7Ranger’s Reload

Perfect for movement builds that want to incorporate ranged weapons, Ranger’s Reload is another rolling-centric decree. When this decree is taken, rolling automatically reloads the player’s equipped weapon.

This is fantastic for weapons with long reload times, likesniper riflesor explosives. Instead of waiting out the full reload, players can roll and get right back in the action, instead.

Warframe Lodun’s Rage in the “Choose Your Decree” screen.

6Lodun’s Rage

Though this decree doesn’t actually serve to augment a player’s movement in any way, it definitely deserves a spot in a movement build. With Lodun’s Rage picked, players deal heat damage to enemies every second they’re nearby, with an additional chance to inflict them with the heat status effect and do damage over time.

Since players will be using movement decrees toengage closely with the enemy, choosing this proximity-based decree is a great way to juice a build for some additional damage.

Warframe Temporal Acceleration causes Volt to move excessively quick.

5Temporal Acceleration

This decree is great for Warframes that have abilities thataugment their movement, like Volt, Zephyr, or Gauss. With the Temporal Acceleration decree, casting abilities increase the player’s movement speed for 5 seconds.

Depending on how many times players have taken this decree, the boost in movement speed ranges between 50-150%. At top speed, players will be traversing the Undercroft in seconds.

Warframe Assassin’s Rush used to drop in on enemy Jackal boss.

4Assassin’s Rush

This decree is a great way to work on a build thatengages and disengages gunfightsvery quickly. If players are working with a bit of a “glass cannon,” it’s only natural that they’d have to jump out of harm’s way every once in a while.

With the Assassin’s Rush decree, players get a 50% bonus to their parkour speed for 7 seconds after eliminating an enemy. This is a great way to get to and from objectives, as well as move from one fight to another.

Warframe Critical Roll decree in the “Choose Your Decree” screen.

3Critical Roll

AlthoughWarframe’sUndercroft is a roguelike RPG, the Critical Roll decree doesn’t have anything to do with a mismatched group of adventurers. This decree is also balanced around the rolling mechanic, and it lets players buff themselves for 4 seconds every time they roll around.

The buff increases the player’s critical damage for a value between 40-120%, based on how many times the player has taken the decree. With how many other decrees there are that include these additive buffs, a Warframe taking the Critical Roll decree can become an absolute offensive powerhouse.

Warframe Deadly Momentum decree chosen in the Circuit.

2Deadly Momentum

One of the best offensive movement decrees, Deadly Momentum amps the player’s damage based on how often they are moving around. Every second the player is moving, they gain a straight boost to their damage. Depending on how many times this decree has been taken, the boost caps somewhere between 50-150%.

The only downside to this decree is that the stacks will steadily decay when the player is stationary. to reap the benefits, the player has to stay on the move.

Warframe Fleet Footed decree helps Excalibur Umbra soar through the air.

1Fleet-Footed

Parkour and repositioning are necessary for anyWarframefight, and the Fleet-Footed decree is a straight upgrade to how quickly players will be navigating the Undercroft. This decree increases movement speed incrementally with every other decree players earn.

This decree almost becomes too good once a certain amount of decrees is earned, as players will be moving from one side of the map to another in seconds. This is certainly powerful, but enterprising players need to be careful when selecting this for their movement build.

Warframeis available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch.
