As the mortal vessel of the Anemo archon, Barbatos, and the first of the Seven that the Traveler meets upon entering Teyvat, Venti is a charismatic and important character inGenshin Impact’sstoryline. Those who take a liking to this character and all his antics will likely be delighted to learn that he is unlockable as a playable character during his time-limited character banners.
Ventiuses a bow and, obviously, the power of Anemo, since he is the element’s archon. His playstyle revolves around controlling enemy placement with the power of wind, activating Swirl, and providing general support to a team. Anyone looking to max out Venti and his talents will need the following materials.

Venti Ascension Materials
As the Anemo archon, it probably comes as no surprise that Venti will use Anemo-related materials to ascend. First, of course, is the Vayuda Turquoise that all Anemo characters must use to ascend. He’ll also need someHurricane Seeds, Slime drops, and a local specialty of Mondstadt. Luckily, all the Venti materials can be found without leaving Mondstadt!

Gemstones - Where to Find Vayuda Turquoise
This elemental gem is used by all Anemo characters. Like other elemental gems, it can be obtained from the Adventurers' Guild when finishing daily commissions or purchased from the souvenir shops in Liyue and Mondstadt. However, the most reliable method for farming Vayuda Turquoise is by defeating bosses who drop it. These bosses include:

Enemy Drop - Where to Find Slime Drops
It’s unlikely that anyone would make it very far into the game without an overflowing stack of Slime drops. However, anyone who is having trouble should look in a few places to find more. In the first two regions, Slimes can be found in abundance in the Stormbearer Mountains, around the western shore of Cider Lake (near Stormterror’s Lair), and on the bit of coast that juts out toward the Guyun Stone Forest, north of Liyue Harbor. In Inazuma, Yashiori Island seems to be a Slime hotspot, while in Sumeru, Slimes are not as common, but can be found in good numbers in Old Vanarana.
One handy trick involves activating Ley Line Outcrops. The enemies will still drop their mats without the player paying the Resin for the overall rewards. This can be a pretty decent way to farm Slime materials, as they often appear in the group of enemies produced by a Ley Line Outcrop, especially in Mondstadt and Liyue.

Boss Drop - How to Get Hurricane Seeds
Hurricane Seeds, which look like a small blue butterfly, are a boss drop that Venti uses to ascend. These are obtained by defeating the Anemo Hypostasis in Mondstadt, located in the Stormbearer Mountains.
Note that this boss is immune to Anemo damage, so using Venti in this fight isn’t the wisest idea.
This guide can help with the Anemo Hypostasis, should it prove to be a challenge:

Local Specialty - Where to Find Cecilias
Given the fact thatWindwheel Astersgrow around statues of Barbatos and are wind-themed, you’d think their mortal vessel, Venti, would use them to ascend. Instead, Venti actually uses another flower that only grows in Mondstadt —Cecilias, which are his favorite flower and incorporated into his outfit. These white flowers are found growing wild in only one place: Starsnatch Cliff.
If players are having a tough time collecting enough of them from the wild, they can be obtained in other ways. Like many other local specialties, they can be grown in the Serenitea Pot. Flora, the young girl that runs the flower shop in Mondstadt, will also sell some Cecilias. She offers five of them every three days, and charges 1,000Morafor each.

Venti Talent Materials
Barbatos took the form of an old friend as his mortal vessel — a bard. It’s probably no shock, then, that the talent books Venti uses are those of the Ballad series. Additionally, he’ll need some more Slime drops, aCrown of Insightfor each talent, and some of the Tail of Boreas, dropped by Andrius after clearing the Wolf of the North Challenge.

Talent Books - Ballad
This bard will need quite a few of the Ballad books to completely max out his talents. While they can be found in a few ways, the main way players will get their hands on talent materials is through their respective domains.
The Ballad series are rewarded for clearing the Forsaken Rift domain on Wednesdays, Saturdays, or Sundays.
Trounce Materials - Tail of Boreas
Once upon a time, Barbatos and Andrius both lived in Mondstadt under the rule of Decarabian. After overthrowing this ruler, Barbatos ascended to become one of the Seven archons, while Andrius dissipated his own power into the land to help it thrive and then passed away. How fitting, then, that Barbatos' vessel, Venti, must reconnect with his former ally for improving his abilities. Venti uses the Tail of Boreas, one of the drops from Andrius after clearing the Wolf of the North challenge, to power up his talents.
