Valheim’s Mistlands update has brought in a massive new hammer to the game world: the Demolisher. This weapon has a powerful ability and the capacity to deal significant damage but will not complement all play styles. Either way, this weapon brings a viable new option for handling the challenges of the Mistlands biome.

As with other weapons that have been added toValheim, the Demolisher requires players to head into the newest biome for resources. For those players looking to craft the Demolisher, this guide is here to help.

How To Craft The Demolisher In Valheim?

Players can only craft the Demolisher atValheim’s new Black Forge crafting stationand need at least 10 Yggdrasil Wood, 20 Iron bars, and 10 Refinded Eitr to create a single example. The resulting creation is a two-handed club that has a durability of 100, a Blunt damage stat of 145, and a knockback of 210. This makes it a hard-hitting weapon that can stun and knockback almost any creature in the game.

Players can also upgrade this weapon at a level 2 Black Forge for the cost of 2 Yggdrasil Wood, 15 Iron, and 2 Refined Eitr. This upgrade adds 6 to its Blunt damage, 50 to the weapons durability, and 10 to its Block Force.

The drawbacks for the Demolisher are very noticeable, especially inthe new Mistlands biome. Firstly, players will quickly notice that it retracts 20 percent of their movement speed, as much as the Iron Sledge and much more than most other weapons inValheim.

Secondly, the Demolisher features a lengthy swing delay, allowing quicker enemies to hit the player before they can activate the weapon’s powerful knockback.

Where To Get The Ingredients For The Demolisher?

Two of the three ingredients required for this weapon can only be found withinthe Mistlands, including Yggdrasil Woodand Refined Eitr.

The former can be harvested from Yggdrasil Shoots with a Black Metal Axe or better. By cutting up a pair of these shoots, players should have enough for a single Demolisher. Refined Eitr is produced when players combine Soft Tissue and Sap at an Eitr Refinery. This is a machine players must craft while those ingredients can be found within the skulls of Ancient Remains and extracted from Ancient Roots, respectively.

The final ingredient, Iron bars, are the result of players placing Scrap Iron within an active Furnace. Scrap Iron can be mined from Ancient Armor in the Mistlands as well as mined from Muddy Scrap Piles in the game’s Swamp biome. Unfortunately, players stillcannot transport ore throughValheim’s Portals, and so this ingredient should be harvested near their main base.

Valheimis available now for PC and releases in early 2023 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
