Rumors have been swirling about theSilent Hillfranchise for years now, with reputable insiders and convincing leaks pointing to new games in development. The video imagines a decidedly more modern twist on Silent Hill, mixed with older locations like a dilapidated diner. Sunderland explores various creepy areas before finding himself under attack by ghoulish monsters.
The video shows a few differentSilent Hill 2monsters remade in Unreal Engine 5. Besides the previously creatures, one of the infamous “nurse” enemies is also spotted, and the video ends with the appearance ofPyramid Head. Pyramid Head has become a mascot of sorts for theSilent Hillfranchise since his debut in the originalSilent Hill 2, so it makes sense for it to be featured in this Unreal Engine 5 video.
TeaserPlay’s Unreal Engine 5 concept videos are often based on hypothetical games, many of which will never actually be made. However, there is a pretty good chance that a realSilent Hill 2remake is in active development at Bloober Team, and fans may learn about the project sooner rather than later.
