While NoPixel’s GTA Roleplay server has been dominatingTwitchstreams, the server has had its fair share of controversies and drama. This is especially so for popularTwitchstreamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel.
Over recent weeksxQc has ridden a roller coaster of being bannedand unbanned from the NoPixel server. While some viewers were concerned that his most recent ban would be permanent, the streamer recently returned to the server where players take on roles of different roles or jobs, such as bank robber or police office, and must abide by a strict set of rules and roleplay guidelines.

Upon returning to the server it did not take long for xQc to run into a police officer yet again. While staging a bank heist, xQc took full-time streamer KylieBitkin’s character Brittany Angel, a police officer, hostage. The two streamers roleplayed a negotiation that ended with xQc beginning to loot the bank vault, leaving him unable to move during the lengthy animation. KylieBitkin took the opportunity to open the security gate to the vault and then gun xQc down while he could not react, much to the displeasure of xQc’s chat who jumped to the other streamer’s chat and beganharassing her on Twitchfor not roleplaying a police officer accurately.
This is not the first time that xQc has hadmembers of his massive Twitch viewershipjump to harass other streamers because they were upset. And while xQc has spoken up to discourage fans from chat hopping in the past, when he spoke after the incident this time he was much more stern on the matter. This time, the streamer said that any viewers of his that chat hopped would be banned from his chat. He went on to say that what happened in the game was not a big deal and that it doesn’t matter in the long run because he is always going to lose sometimes and will simply do the bank heist again.
The actions of xQc to try and keep his chat members from harassing other streamers are commendable, and the firm zero-tolerance stance that he is making is the appropriate response. While some do think that it is only a matter of time before the streamer cracks and returns to his previous heated demeanor, hopefully, he is able to maintain his efforts towards keeping his chat contained and more accepting of any losses that he takes along the way as he continues hisexciting adventures in theGrand Theft AutoRP server.
