There are three physical versions ofTomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, all of which will be released on September 24. The base edition costs $35 and comes in a jewel case. The deluxe edition comes in at $55 and includes an “exploration map book” that contains over 80 pages of game secrets, a voucher to download the collection’s original soundtrack, a SteelBook, and a collective tuck-in box. The $200 collector’s edition from Limited Run Games includes all that plus two replica Lara Croft pistols in a lit box, three 12x16-inch posters, a set of trading cards, Lara Croft figurines, and a physical CD of theTomb Raidersoundtrack. The collector’s edition can only be pre-ordered until June 23, either throughTomb Raideror Limited Run Games' official websites.

The $200 edition’s marketing material says that its Lara Croft figurines are all accurate to the protagonist’s in-game look, with the three figurines depictingCroft’s appearancein each of the three classic games.

Despite the positive reception toTomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, developer Aspyr has recently found itself in hot water. This is due to therough launch ofStar Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection, another similar project from the developer that specializes in ports and remasters.

Looking ahead toTomb Raider’s future, it seems the franchise’s next game might introduce some big changes. Recently, an insider claimed thenextTomb Raiderwill be fully open-worldand set in India, where users will have free use of motorcycles, parachutes, and other traversal methods to explore an unrestricted world.
