The Sims 4announced that it’s dropping two new DLC kits that will add underwear and lingerie to Sims' wardrobes, and bathroom clutter. These collections are expected to add more spiciness to Sims' love life, and make their bathrooms look more attractive.
The Sims 4kitsare like bite-sized versions of expansion packs as they just provide players with new items and clothing, and not necessarily a whole new map or gameplay. In the past,The Sims 4released kits such asCountry Kitchenthat lets players live out their rustic cottage dreams, andThrowback Fitthat adds ’90s-inspired clothing.

The upcomingSims 4kits releasing on January 19th are theSimtimates Collection KitandBathroom Clutter Kit. The former adds an array of underwear items designed by fashion label MeUndies, which will include lacy lingerie and form-fitting pieces that will flatter every Sim’s body type.Bathroom Clutter, on the other hand, is similar toEveryday Clutterand will allow players to transform their bathrooms into “a perfectly organized mess.” While clutter kits aren’t interactive, these serve as accessories to add more personality to each room.
On social media, manySims 4players expressed their excitement for both kits, most especially theSimtimates Collection. They praised the variety of clothing designs and bathroom clutter items that players could get from the kits, which would allow them to change up their Sims' style and home decor. Meanwhile, there were also players who seemed displeased as they were waiting for the game’s infant update, while others don’t like having to spend extra for DLCs whenThe Sims 4is already free-to-play.
SinceThe Simscame out in 2000, expansion packs and kits have given players the option to enhance their gameplay experience. While it’s okay for players to choose not to buy all the additional content, there will always be a select number of people who will be against paid DLC.The Sims 4, in particular, has been out since 2014, so it’s also understandable whyEA has been releasing multiple DLCs and installing updatesto keep the game interesting until the nextSimstitle comes out.
There are currently no updates onThe Sims 5’s release dateand overall look, but players have already gotten glimpses at the new build and decorating tools, and the fact that there will be apartments in the game. It might take a while, so it would be a good idea for fans to kill some time inThe Sims 4or the previous games for now.
