AZelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer has taken advantage of the Recall ability to repair the bridge to Princess Zelda’s study. Since its initial launch in May, players have been pushingTears of the Kingdom’s building mechanics to their limits and sharing all manners of inventions. For example, one imaginativeTears of the Kingdomplayer built a remote-controlled vehicleto locomote through the world of Hyrule. With creative abilities like Autobuild and Recall available, it’s clear this engineering trend won’t slow down any time soon.

Tears of the Kingdomexpands on the gameplay ofBreath of the Wildby introducing players to ancient powers like Ascend and Fuse, which can be used through Link’s magical arm. They open the game’s world up with further possibilities and are extensively used in exploration. One such ability is Recall, which allows players to reverse time for certain objects and send them back in the direction they came from. UsingTears of the Kingdom’s Recallis a hoot, but players first need to complete the Closed Door quest, which begins as soon as they reach the Temple of Time on the Great Sky Island, to unlock this game-changing ability.

Over onThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s subreddit, a user named theshmalex posted a clip of themselves walking on Zelda’s bridge, which they repaired using the Recall ability and a dragon scale. The original poster said even four hover stones were not enough to glue the broken pieces back together. When asked if the pieces stay connected forever, one Redditor by the name of Hieichigo claimed that, though a dragon scale has a very large despawn radius, it won’t be enough to hold up the structure if players go far away from it.

Princess Zelda’s study is a small room filled with charts and books. It connects to the private bedroom of Zelda by a bridge patrolled by a Guardian Skywatcher. The interior part of the room includes a stone treasure chest containing a Royal Guard’s Sword.

The sandbox nature of the Recall ability makes accomplishing tasks a bit easier for Link, especially in combat. As an example, players can recall thrown weapons, reverse large objects to use against enemies, and throw bomb barrels to deal destructive damage. When used smartly, the Recall ability can also help players reachTears of the Kingdom’s Sky Islands, small archipelagos they can explore in the clouds above Hyrule’s land.

Aside from the Recall ability,Tears of the Kingdomalso introduced Ultrahand and Fuse, which allow players to make their own makeshift vehicles and combine all kinds of materials with equipment to improve their innate capabilities. It will be interesting to see players use these ancient powers in creative ways to break the game.
