Nintendo and Hal Laboratory releasedSuper Smash Bros. Meleeway back in 2001 for the GameCube’s launch and since then it has become one of the most popular titles in theSuper Smash Bros.series. Countless players have created fan art dedicated to the world ofSuper Smash Bros. Meleeover the years and one has recognized all the maps coming together to form a Melee globe.

Twitter user Daydream_stream recently shared theirSuper Smash Bros. Meleefan art combining over 20 visible stages from theGameCube fighting gameto create a globe. Like a globe of the Earth, many biomes are represented in Daydream_stream’sSuper Smash Bros. Meleesphere and the landmasses are separated by a vast ocean. The similarities don’t end there, however, as the exact center of theSuper Smash Bros. Meleefan art shows a glimpse into this planet’s hot inner core, which glows with orange and yellow.

The notableSuper Smash Bros. Meleestages in the Northern background of Daydream_stream’s unique globe are Dream Land: Green Greens which is off to the side next to Hyrule Temple and Mushroom Kingdom: Rainbow Cruise, which float above the ocean like stages represented in the Southern Hemisphere. The maps directly underneath the floating Northern Hemisphere are theGame & Watch-inspiredFlat Zone, Yoshi’s Island: Yoshi’s Story, Kongo Jungle, F-Zero: Mute City, Termina: Great Bay, andStar Fox’s Corneria, which looms in the skies opposite Green Greens. Underneath Green Greens to the West of Daydream_stream’s fan art is DK Island: Jungle Japes, and to the far East underneath Corneria is part of the Lylat System and the Ice Climbers' Icicle Mountain.

Taking up the central portion of Daydream_stream’sSuper Smash Bros. Meleeglobe is Brinstar, Brinstar Depths, Onett, Mushroom Kingdom, Mushroom Kingdom 2, and Princess Peach’s Castle. The Southern Hemisphere of Daydream_stream’s fan art has the Fourside Eagle Land city map from theEarthboundserieswhich includes a UFO while to the South West is the particularly popular Poke Floats stage which is fittingly airborne in the South East. The four maps featured in the center of the Southernmost portion of theSuper Smash Bros. Meleeglobe are Pokemon Stadium, Battlefield, Final Destination, and the Fountain of Dreams which connect the stage to the globe’s ocean with its waterfalls.

SomeSuper Smash Bros. Meleemaps that are notably absent from Daydream_stream’s globe are classic stages like the returning Yoshi, Dream Land, and Kongo Jungle stages from the N64 title, as well asMelee’s own Big Blue. Because Daydream_stream has only revealed one side of theirSuper Smash Bros. Meleeglobe, it’s likely that these remaining stages have been omitted from the fan art to show in the future as the other half.Super Smash Bros. Meleeisn’t the only game Daydream_stream has created globes for as they have shared similar fan art in theMinecraftandSonic the Hedgehoguniverses.
