Sportingmany diverse activitiesacross its open-world, players will often find themselves partaking in all kinds of tasks to acquire new suits, gadget upgrades, skills, and most importantly: Suit Mods. Replacing the Suit Powers from the first game, Suit Mods grant Miles permanent abilities that can improve and amplify his existing abilities, as well as adding new ones. Among the many available in the game however, 10 stand tall as the strongest buffs to Miles’ repertoire.
10Zap Slap
The Underground is the main antagonistic force inSpider-Man Miles Morales, becoming more and more prevalent in the game’s many combat encountersas the campaign progresses. Zap Slap serves as a powerful tool to even the odds against this threat, as it’s one of the few suit mods that target a specific group of enemies.
Zap Slap causes shattered Underground weapons to explode, sending a concussive shockwave to nearby enemies. Seeing as how this suit mod targets only one faction of enemies, its use is somewhat situational, but in those encounters it can quickly stun larger groups of enemies with only one attack. This suit mod is unlocked with the Classic Suit, which is acquired early into the campaign.

9Reclaimer
Many of the game’s combat encounters either begin in or completely remain in stealth. Reclaimer along with many of the other Visor mods helps to ease stealth encounters while also having the added bonus of helping Miles stock up on resources outside direct combat.

Reclaimer replenishes gadget ammo when performing a stealth takedown. This skill used in tandem with the electric mine acquired late into the game can be used for quick and easy stealth runs, allowing Miles to toss out electric mines repeatedly without running out. This visor mod is unlocked with the Purple Reign Suit, which is obtained by collecting all sound samples and completing the “Back to the Beginning” mission.
8Eyes In The Back Of My Head
Despite Miles’ invisibility and wide range of movement options, some stealth encounters still prove difficult; especially with the introduction of a late-game enemy type that can see through Miles’ invisibility. Luckily, Eyes In The Back Of My Head functions as a get-out-of-jail-free card in stealth, making for a quick way toregain control in a rough situation.
Eyes In The Back Of My Head instantly camouflages Miles when detected in stealth. While this won’t work on a very small variety of enemies, for the most part this visor mod will reset stealth and help Miles to get the drop on nearby opponents again. This visor mod is unlocked with 14 Activity Tokens and 3 Tech Parts.

7Optic Triangulation
Like other Visor Mods, Optic Triangulation aids Miles in stealth encounters, providing an immensely helpful quality-of-life tool.
Optic Triangulation marks all enemies through walls and keeps them marked while in stealth. When starting new stealth encounters, Optic Triangulation quickly becomes a go-to for getting a quick layout of the area without having to stake out the area yourself. This visor mod is unlocked with 8 Activity Tokens.

6Eyes On Target
Similar to the built-in detection icon that appears when scanning an area in stealth, Eyes On Target functions as an extension of this ability, making getting a read on the situation much easier.

Eyes On Target connects a line from an enemy to all other enemies that can currently see them when scanning. When paired with Optic Triangulation, a single scan of a stealth encounter can yield even more information, scanning the area for threats, marking them through walls, and showing their line of sight all at once. This visor mod is unlocked with 8 Activity Tokens.
5Induction Mesh
As many fights inSpider-Man Miles Moralescan quickly turn on Miles, powerful recovery tools like Induction Mesh can help to bounce back from low-health situations in combat.
Induction Mesh heals Miles on every hit on Venom Shocked enemies. When paired with suit mods like Venom Momentum that can shock enemies over time, this suit mod’s healing potential skyrockets, allowing for a swift recovery even after the harshest attacks. This suit mod is unlocked with 10 Activity Tokens, 1 Tech Part.

4Venom Momentum
The Venom Shocked status quickly becomes an integral part of the game’s combat, as inflicting it can open enemies up to massive damage and stun. Venom Momentum can significantly increase how often this status is applied to enemies.
Venom Momentum causes every 6th hit in a combo to apply Venom Shock to the enemy. This means that basic attacks that otherwise would’ve served as combo filler can now bolster Miles’ damage output further, especially when combined with certain venom skills that increase the damage dealt to Venom Shocked enemies. This Suit Mod is unlocked with 12 Activity Tokens and 2 Tech Parts.

3Threat Sensors
Similar to one of Peter’s abilities in theoriginalSpider-Man, Threat Sensors is a very unique combat-oriented visor mod that can add a whole other layer to battles with its time-slowing ability.
Threat Sensors slows down time for a few seconds after performing a perfect dodge. In this slowed period, enemies can be hit easily and as many times as you can before the time runs out. With some clever application, this can be used to apply more Venom Shock to enemies than you’d normally be able to without the immediate threat of retaliation. This Visor Mod is only available in New Game + and is unlocked by completing the main campaign.

2Venom Shield
Reigning as the best of Miles’ recovery tools, Venom Shield provides incredible defense while recovering while simultaneously attacking would-be attackers in the process.
Venom Shield causes a shield to form around Miles when healing with a full Venom Bar, completely shielding him from attacks while he’s healing with the added bonus of repelling attackers and applying Venom Shock. Venom Shield is an incredible tool for pushing back attackers, as there is no limit to the amount of pushback and venom applied while the shield is up. This Suit Mod is only available in New Game + and is unlocked by completing the main campaign.

1Untouchable
Untouchable is an early-game suit mod that may initially seem less useful on paper but can become incredibly deadly when paired with other mods and skills, causing massive amounts of damage with the right combo.
Untouchable causes attacks performed after a perfect dodge to deal 50% more damage for 5 seconds. When paired with Threat Sensors, the time-slowing effect still applies, meaning the duration of this suit mod’s power increases even further. This combo allows Miles to deal massive amounts of damage in short bursts after a perfect dodge, which can be made even more useful with mods like Venom Momentum that apply Venom Shock; as well asskills that boost Venom Shock’s capabilities. Untouchable is unlocked with 8 activity tokens.

Spider-Man Miles Moralesis available on Playstation 5 and PC.
