The Cursed Lands of Lavernock isSker Ritual’sfirst map that pits players in a creepy village filled with murderous freaks. While the main goal of the game is to simply survive for as many rounds as possible, those who want to learn more about the game’s story have a lot to uncover by progressing through this map’s laundry list of objectives.
The objectives in this map are a little confusing, but they aren’t quite as convoluted asCall of Duty’sfamous Zombies Easter Eggs. If you’re dying to know how to completeSker Ritual’sCursed Lands of Lavernock map, here’s a guide covering all the steps you need to take.

Destroy The Power Generators
After you exit the chapel starting area through the main doors, the first objective you’ll come across is to destroy a number of power generators in the neighboring village. The generators are tall, cabinet-shaped machines — you’re able to find them by following the cables running along the ground. Hit the generators with your gun or melee attack to break them. Once they’re destroyed, proceed by opening any of the adjacent doors in the village.
Gates of Hell
After destroying the generators, descend into the underground chamber through any of the available routes that lead below. You’ll eventually reach the main chamber, and you’ll be tasked with collecting a number of cylinders in order to progress. To get them, you need to explore the rest of the map and do objectives related to each cylinder.
If you’re hunting for trophies/achievements, pay close attention to the following areas.Sker Ritualcontains breakable dollsthat can be shot for the Maids of Lavernock trophy/achievement.

Hero Cylinder
This one is closest to the main chamber. Go back to the morgue just outside the chamber, then interact with the furnace to begin. The process is simple: stand in front of the furnace until it opens, ignite the furnace using Blazeslingers, then kill enemies and shove their entrails into the fire.
The most confusing step here is the one involving Blazeslingers, or the glowing enemies that throw fireballs. To ignite the furnace, you need to bait the Blazeslingers into throwing fireballs at the furnace. To do this, clear a wave and leave at least one Blazeslinger alive. Then, stand in front of the furnace and sidestep whenever a fireball is incoming. Repeat this until the Hero Cylinder is ready to be collected.
Medusa Cylinder
This one is set in the small wheat field with scarecrows above-ground. Interact with the box in the center of the field to spawn Banshees — find and kill all of them to open the box and reveal the Thunderbolt rifle. Then, search the field forfour scarecrows with bits of rebar and metal stuckto them. Once they’re all emitting energy to the central antenna, go to the hut with the weapon vendor, then go downstairs.
Inside the basement is yet another facility. Shoot the electric cages on the ceiling, then charge the tesla coils after by holding the adjacent control room. Once these steps are done, the Medusa Cylinder will be ready to collect by the stairs.
Siren Cylinder
This part of the map has verystrong Lovecraftian RPG vibes. Go to thegraveyardand interact with the coffin next to the mausoleum entrance, then pick up theold lantern. Take it to the underground office area, and shine it on the portraits you find there. Doing so will reveal purple sigils on them — take note of the sigilas well as the number below the portrait itself. Then, look for the bookcase with the rotating locks. Use the information you gained from the portraits to unlock the bookcase and reveal the Siren Cylinder.
Cerberus Cylinder
Head to the Woodlands area through one of the doors in the area with the generators. There, you’ll find a devil statue with a caged lamb underneath. Your goal here is to find and destroy other statues in the area. You can only damage statues that are glowing, and only one of them will be vulnerable at a time. After a short duration, the vulnerability period on a statue wears out and transfers to a different one. Once all the statues are destroyed, you’ll be asked to “crack the code.”
To do this, go back to each of the statues and rotate them until the sigils on the lamb’s cage light up. Completing this will set the lamb free, and you’ll then have toescort it to the church. We highly recommend starting this step after thinning down a wave to just one or two slow-moving enemies.
Once the lamb arrives, you’ll need to extract essence by killing enemies within the indicated radius. This may take a while, so do your best to survive. After this, the Cerberus Cylinder will be yours for the taking. Go back to the underground chamber and place all the cylinders in their rightful places.
Power the Vault Door
Go back to the room where you got the Medusa Cylinder and look for the round room near the stairs with the circle on the floor. Stand on the circle until it locks in place, then kill enemies while they’re on it. Repeat this process three more times to complete this step. Once you’re done, return to the underground chamber and stand on the middle platform where the pedestal used to be to open the vault.
Destroy the Power Coils and Defeat Abraham
Pass through the vault door and shoot the red power coils near the machine in the center of the room. Take them all down, and the nearby doors will unlock. Go through any of them to reach the bottom level, where the map’s final boss awaits.
Abraham is an enemy who occasionally appears during regular waves, similar tomini-bosses inCall of Duty Zombies. However, he is much deadlier as the final boss of this map. He is faster and has access to a variety of attacks that he only does in this encounter. Fighting him isn’t complicated — just shoot and dodge until he dies. However, before you enter the boss room, make sure you are fully kitted out with upgraded weapons and as many perks as you can get to make the fight much easier.
