In earlier entries to the series, it was quite important to meet coworkers and establish a good relationship with them, but not inThe Sims 4. In most cases, meeting coworkers is not something players will go out of their way to do, but it is possible. In this guide, gamers will learn how they find their coworkers and improve their relationships with them.
Importance Of Coworkers
InThe Sims 4, there are a few cases in which players will want to find their coworkers. For example, in the Social Media Career, if the Sim chooses to work from home, one of their tasks might have them socialize with their coworkers, and if the sim hasn’t met them yet, it can be difficult to complete.
TheGrowing TogetherSims 4work rivalry mechanicis also a scenario in which players might find themselves needing to get to their rival coworkers in order to work things out so that they can be promoted.
Meeting Coworkers
Whether players want to meet their coworkers to improve their careers or simply for any personal storyline they might be developing, there are a couple of ways to do it.
The Sim can go around town and ask variousSims about their careerby selecting them, introducing the Sims, and then choosing the Ask About Career option in the Small Talk menu of the Friendly tab. This will certainly take some time and can be quite tedious though. There are Sims from households created by the Sims Team that are assigned specific careers, but there are also random townies that will work certain careers. The best way to meet coworkers is to simplychoose the Socialize with Coworkers optionon the Sim’s icon once they’ve left for work. Unfortunately, this interaction will lower their work performance, but from time to time they will start meeting coworkers. This also works for children and teens that want to meet their classmates when attending school.
Alternatively, players with the Get Together expansion pack can create a club and add a certain career choice as a requirement. This is a great way to filter other Sims when looking for coworkers.
To check out a Sim’s list of currently known classmates and coworkers the player has to open the Relationships panel and select the tab with the briefcase symbol. They can then call them and ask them to hang out whenever.
