He apparently discovered this while attending PAX East 2024, where developers discussed hearing things about the nextSpyrogame. A few days ago, a report came out that Xbox struck a deal with Toys for Bob to fund its next game, which prompted Canadian Guy Eh to reach out to the people he spoke to at PAX East - and one of them seemingly confirmed thatSpyro 4has been in development since January.
