Although the event is still several months away, video game publishers and developers are already unveiling their plans for the annual industry bash, E3 2016. In the last few weeks,EA has announced its own E3 2016 plans, saying that it will switch things up a bit by hosting ‘EA Play’ sessions to give gamers hands-on time with its titles. Meanwhile,Bethesda announced its E3 2016 press conference(which will only be its second ever E3 presser) where the studio is expected to unveil moreFallout 4news and details onDishonored 2.

Also set to make a splash when the event kicks off in June is Take-Two, the parent company of 2K Games and Rockstar Games. In an interview withMCV, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said that “we will be there in a big way” when asked about E3 2016 plans. The company does not traditionally host its own press conferences, but even so, the event will be one to watch.

MCVstates that Zelnick was “tight lipped” on what to expect from the company. However, with newWWEandNBA 2Ktitles being a sure-thing andBattlebornandMafia 3set to be released before E3 2016 begins (Mafia 3has a rumored April release date), fans have begun to speculate on what else Take-Two has up its sleeves.

Although Rockstar Games traditionally skips out on the E3 festivities, many hope that this is a sign the studio will finally announceRed Dead Redemption 2. The firstRed Dead Redemptiongame was released all the way back in 2010 and is still as popular as ever. Fans were positively giddy when the game was (temporarily) released via theXbox One backward compatibility featureand when it showed up in the Take-Two financial report, with 14 million units shipped since its release. It’s popularity and financial success are not the only reasons fans believe a new game will be on the way soon, though, as job postings from last year suggested thatRockstar San Diego was hiring developers to work on a new game.

Other possibilities include a newBioShockgame and a showing fromBioShockcreator Ken Levine. Recently,BioShock: The Collectionwas rated for PC, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox Oneand some fans are hoping that this is to bring more fans into the fold before releasing a new game. All we know about Ken Levine’s game, on the other hand, is anopen-world first person shooterbut with no footage shown for the game (yet) perhaps E3 2016 would be a good platform for a full debut.
