A fan ofPokemon Scarlet and Violetcreated their own Paradox form for Torkoal. Many of the more recentPokemongenerations have had special forms for various pocket monsters, transforming many of the creatures that gamers love. This includes mechanics such asMega Evolutionand Dynamaxing, which introduced a new way to look at various pocket monsters.

Pokemon Scarlet and VioletintroducedParadox Pokemon, special creatures that are based off of older pocket monsters. They cannot breed or evolve, and either seem like an ancestor of some contemporary Pokemon or the futuristic relative of others. One player created their own Paradox form, basing it off of the Fire-Type Torkoal.

A Redditor named Macksi_18 shared their vision of what a Paradox Torkoal would look like. The user named the form Iron Fission and made it a Fire/Water-Type. The pocket monster now looks as if it were made of metal and has a generator on its back where Torkoal originally had a coal mine. According to Macksi_18, Iron Fission would be the Nuclear Pokemon and would have the ability Quark Drive, which would increase a stat when Electric Terrain is activated. It is a creative look at a contemporary pocket monster and would be a good idea for futureDLC forPokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Reddit users are enjoying Iron Fission, to the point that Macksi_18’s post now has over 11,000 upvotes. Some commenters are stating that they like the idea of Paradox Pokemon and hope that more of them are on the way in upcoming DLC. There were also a number of gamers discussing which current pocket monsters they would like to see get a Paradox form, withPokemon such as Porygonand Raichu being a few of the suggestions. Then there was a group of players who admitted that they thought Iron Fission was a giant toaster due to the holes seen on its back.

It shall be seen if more Paradox forms are added toPokemon Scarlet and Violetin the future. These alternate versions of existing creatures are an interesting idea and can lead to some great results. Game Freak has a very large roster of pocket monsters that can be used as inspiration, including some that have not received much love over the years, and as Macksi_18 has shown, there are Pokemon that gamers do not see often that can be used. Hopefully, players will see awesome Paradox Pokemon when DLC eventually comes to the latest releases of the legendary JRPG series.
