Love is in the air inPokemon GOas the annual Valentine’s Day event prepares to kick off. This year’s event is the next big item onthe February 2022 calendar of eventsand will offer players five full days to take advantage of all that the special activities have to offer.
Players can expect to find unique Raid Bosses, collection challenges, Pokemon debuts, and even a new form available in the game once thePokemon GOValentine’s Day 2022 festival officially kicks off. The event is jam-packed and should be one that is especially appealing to collectors and completionists. There are still a few hours to prepare for the upcoming activities, but trainers can start looking ahead at everything they can expect right now.

As always, the Valentine’s Day bonuses will put an emphasis on a handful of the game’s most beautifulflower-themed and pink-colored Pokemon. This time around there are more reasons to celebrate than just a few increased spawns though. Trainers will have tons of activities to enjoy and there’s a lot to keep track of throughout the five-day event.

Pokemon Debuts
Flabébé, Floette, and Florges make their debuts in Pokemon GO!
These Pokemon come in five different colors: red, yellow, orange, blue, and white.
Flabébé can evolve into Floette with 25 Flabébé Candy. Floette can evolve into Florges with 100 Flabébé Candy after you earn 20 hearts with it as your buddy.

Global Challenge
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, a global challenge will be ongoing throughout the event! Work with other Trainers around the world by sending Gifts to your friends. Once Trainers send enough Gifts, they’ll unlock a bonus for all Trainers for the remainder of the event.
Trainers will need to complete the Global Challenge Goal of sending 70,000,000 Gifts to get the following bonus:

New Form Change
For the duration of the Valentine’s Day event, you’ll be able to change your Natural Form Furfrou to Heart Trim Furfrou!
Collection Challenge Rewards
The event will feature two Valentine’s Day–themed Collection Challenges! Complete the Collection Challenges to encounter a female Frillish and a male Frillish.
The new debuts and the new form are very exciting features for players who enjoy the collectible aspect ofPoGO. This is going to be an important event forPokedex completionists, so get ready to see a lot of activity in the coming days.
