Pokemon GO’s Moltres Day will begin at 11am PT, so there’s still some time for players to get themselves ready for the event. There are multiple ways fans can get ready forMoltres Day, with the first step being putting together a competent team of Pokemon that can counter Moltres.
There are seven different Pokemon that players will want to consider for their team when taking on Moltres in legendary raid battles today. The potential Pokemon are listed below, but the recommendation is that players use Pokemon with rock-, electric-, or water-type attacks when going into this battle. Considering this,Pokemon GOplayers will want to make sure that not only do they have the recommended Pokemon in their party, but that those Pokemon are also equipped with the proper moves.

Here are the Pokemon that can counter Moltres for Moltres Day inPokemon GO:
IfPokemon GOplayers have regularly been participating in recent in-game events, then they should have most of the Pokemon listed above, if not all of them. After all, there was a Larvitar Community Day that should have given players the chance to add a lot of Tyranitars to their team, and both Raikou and Zapdos have been available as Field Research Breakthrough rewards. In the case of Zapdos, there was previously a Zapdos Day event that gave players another opportunity to fight it in legendary raids, soPokemon GOplayers should have a relatively powerful Zapdos by now.
As far as Golem goes, players who have been playing regularly should also have at least one or two Golems and Alolan Golems in their party. After all, Alolan Geodude is one of the more commonPokemon that hatch out of Alolan Eggs, so it’s not all that difficult to build up a significant amount of Geodude candy in the game nowadays.
Besides putting together a competent Pokemon team,Pokemon GOplayers can also prepare for Moltres Day by figuring out how they can do the most legendary raids possible in their area. It will also help to remember to spin gyms to get the five free raid passes that everyPokemon GOplayer is entitled to during the three-hour Moltres Day event.
