A talented artist has created an amazing wallpaper based on Pinwheel Forest from the Gen 5Pokemongames, and the artwork is even animated. While the internet is full ofPokemonfan art, this latest creation gives fans a breathtaking look at a classic location from the franchise.
Pinwheel forest is a location that Pokemon players can see in the Gen 5 installments in the series. The forest is located in Unova between Nacrene City and Castelia City. First seen inPokemon Black and White, the forest was notable for an area known as Rumination Field. There, fans can find a Legendary Pokemon called Virizion. In addition, the location is featured in the following gamesPokemon Black 2 and White 2. Recently, a fan made a picture that paid tribute to this location from Gen 5.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as itzaspace gave fans a look at their fan art of Pinwheel Forest. Using pixel art, the Reddit user managed to recreate the Gen 5 location in impressive detail, featuring several Pokemon associated with the forest. In the image, Pokemon Trainer Hilda stood on a log while clutching a Poke Ball. Besides her sat Snivy and Tepig, two of theGen 5 starter Pokemon. In addition, a shiny Oshawott was visible in a puddle next to a pair of Tympole.
Beyond these three starter Pokemon, the image stood out due to the inclusion of Virizion, a Legendary Pokemon that calls the Pinwheel Forest home. The Pokemon stood on another mossy log, staring in the direction of the Trainer and her starters. On the Legendary’s back rode what appeared to be Petilil, a smallGrass-type Pokemon. To complete the stunning artwork, itzaspace added animation to the wallpaper. These included subtle motions like the Trainer’s hair blowing in the wind, light rays shining through the canopy, and ripples in the water, to name a few.

Since itzaspace uploaded the fan art several hours ago, they have received many comments praising the design. Furthermore, the post has more than 7.6K upvotes. In the comment section, the artist even included download links for the animated wallpaper for those interested in using it on their own devices.
