In a post on Reddit, a user known as itzaspace gave fans a look at their fan art of Pinwheel Forest. Using pixel art, the Reddit user managed to recreate the Gen 5 location in impressive detail, featuring several Pokemon associated with the forest. In the image, Pokemon Trainer Hilda stood on a log while clutching a Poke Ball. Besides her sat Snivy and Tepig, two of theGen 5 starter Pokemon. In addition, a shiny Oshawott was visible in a puddle next to a pair of Tympole.

Beyond these three starter Pokemon, the image stood out due to the inclusion of Virizion, a Legendary Pokemon that calls the Pinwheel Forest home. The Pokemon stood on another mossy log, staring in the direction of the Trainer and her starters. On the Legendary’s back rode what appeared to be Petilil, a smallGrass-type Pokemon. To complete the stunning artwork, itzaspace added animation to the wallpaper. These included subtle motions like the Trainer’s hair blowing in the wind, light rays shining through the canopy, and ripples in the water, to name a few.
