Atlus had earlier revealed that it will be making several announcements as a part ofPersona’s 25th anniversary celebrations. Back in September, thefirst projects for the 25-year anniversary ofPersonawere revealed, but some fans were left disappointed due to the lack of new game announcements.

Yesterday at The Game Awards, Atlus confirmed thatPersona 4 Arena Ultimaxwill be getting remasteredfor PS4, Switch, and PC. This announcement probably did not come as a big surprise, as a rumor back in July had suggested that a remaster forPersona 4 Arena Ultimaxwas in the works. As Atlus’ Steam page had recently gotten updated, some fans were probably hoping for a release ofPersona 5 Royalon PC. Regardless, this was indeed a part of the 25th anniversary celebrations, but it was not the only news Atlus wanted to share.
