A new game launches onPC Game Passtoday as a day-one release. Microsoft adds new games to the PC Game Pass andXbox Game Passlibraries every month. Instead of putting all available games at once, titles are added to the PC Game Pass collection throughout the month, so users have something new to play after every few days.
Microsoft added some exciting titles toPC Game Pass in November 2022. This list includesPentiment,Return to Monkey Island,Football Manager 2023,The Walking Dead: Michonne - The Complete Season, and more. Some of these games only came to PC Game Pass, while others were also added to Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Now, PC Game Pass members get to access another game that launches today as a day-one release.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktidelaunches today on PC Game Pass. It’s a first-person action title developed by Fatshark, the studio behindWarhammer: Vermintide 2, and has a heavy focus on cooperative gameplay with support for up to four players.Darktideseems to be an upgrade overVermintide 2in some areas, as parts of the game are improved with this latest release. As an example,Darktidefeatures enhanced weapon sounds and particle effects when compared toVermintide 2.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktideis set to launch on Xbox Series Xand Xbox Series S as well at a later date. It was originally supposed to release on consoles alongside the PC version, but the Xbox version was delayed in July 2022. There isn’t a set release date forDarktide’s release on Xbox Series X/S, but the developer had confirmed that it will launch shortly after the PC version comes out.
The PC Game Pass catalog sometimes differsfrom the Xbox Game Pass selection, as a few games may only be available on either platform. Most notably, PC Game Pass gets strategy games that don’t release on Xbox consoles.Total War: Warhammer 3andAge of Empires 4are probably the best examples of this, although the latter is scheduled to launch on Xbox consoles in 2023.
While many games got added to PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass in November 2022, some key titles left the service this month. Games likeFinal Fantasy 13-2,Mortal Shell, andWarhammer 40K Battlesectoramong othersleft Xbox Game Pass todayas the library continues to change every month.
