A new challenge event is currently available inOverwatchfor Tracer, which is meant to celebrate thenewly releasedOverwatchcomicby Dark Horse Comics that stars the British ex-pilot herself.
By participating in thisOverwatchchallenge, players can get access to a special challenge exclusive skin, a player icon, and a special spray for Tracer. This challenge will only be running from September 15th, 2020 to September 28th, 2020, so players should complete it as soon as possible.

The new Tracer skin is named Comic Book. It is anepic ranked skinthat is adorned with various comic panels from the newOverwatchcomic as well as visual comic styled sound effects.
Unlocking Comic Book Tracer
In order to unlock this skin, players need to win nine different games inOverwatch. These games can either be in Quick Play, Arcade, or Competitive with players being able to mix and match what they want to play.
By beating three different games, players will earn the comic Tracer player icon that they can equip via their career profile. After six games, players will earn a comic Tracer spray that can only be equipped by Tracer. As stated before, nine wins will earn players the skin the challenge is themed around.
In addition to these prizes, there are six more challenge exclusive sprays that players can earn. These sprays can be obtained via watchingpartnered streams on Twitchafter linking one’s Battle.net account with their Twitch account. Watching 2 hours of these streams will earn players 1 of these sprays. 4 hours of watching will earn players 2 of these sprays. Finally, watching six hours of these streams will earn players the final 3 sprays.
All of these sprays that can be obtainedvia Twitch streamsare themed after comic book sound effects like the decals on Tracer’s comic book skin. These sound effects are:
While these sprays might not seem special at first, they are all actually packed with a secret voice line for each one. As these sprays canonly be used by Tracer, she will say the sound effect out loud when the player puts the spray down. This might mean that other sprays in the future or inOverwatch 2will also have special voice lines bundled with them as well.
Players will only have around two weeks to complete the challenge and watch the streams, so players are highly recommended to start as soon as they possibly can.
