A talentedOverwatch 2fan has created a life-sized Roadhog Hook, revealing how intimidating facing the burly tank in real life would be. WhileOverwatch 2boasts 37 playable characters, each with iconic weaponry, Roadhog’s terrifying Chain Hook is hard to forget.
Roadhog has been a part of theOverwatchseries ever since the original game was introduced. Over the years, the tank has caused havoc on the battlefield due to his disruptive abilities. In addition to a Scrap Gun,Roadhog comes equipped with a Chain Hook, allowing him to pull an enemy toward him and land a follow-up hit. Unfortunately, the tank has been hit with some significant nerfs recently, making him less viable in competitive matches. However, that did not stop one gamer from recreating one of his classic weapons in the real world.

In a post on Reddit, a gamer shared pictures of a massive life-sized replica of Roadhog’s Hook. Known as DansJungle on the platform, the creator was shown holding their work in the pictures, providing a good idea of the giant scale of the replica weapon. In addition to being massive, DansJungle included several finer details to make Roadhog’s Hook look more authentic. For instance, the word “HOG” was spelled out at the tip of the replica, while the grip looked like it was made of weathered cloth.
In addition to showcasing the replica in a collection of images, DansJungle provided some details about the design process in the comment section. According to the creator, the creation was “entirely 3d printed,” taking roughly two days to fully print. Furthermore, they calculated the scale of the Roadhog Hook by comparing it to the size of theDPS character Hanzo, who is 5’8”. From there, they then adjusted the model to scale to the size of their body. “It can go around my waist, so I’d say it’s big enough,” they said.
In the time since DansJungle shared his life-sized Roadhog Hook on Reddit, the fan art has garnered a massive amount of support. The post already has over 7.3K upvotes, with manyOverwatchseries fans weighing in on the design. Among the comments, some fans wanted to see DansJungle build a life-sized Roadhog to compliment the impressive 3D-printed Hook. However, the creator joked about another possible idea. “Why build one when I can become one? Only need to gain about 400lbs,” they said. In addition, many users were excited to see DansJungle make other weapons fromtheOverwatchseries, with the creator stating they already had projects in the works.
It is worth pointing out that this is not the only incredibleOverwatchweapon replica to be created by fans. Other gamers have used their talents for 3D printing to make guns for other popular Heroes, such as one person who3D printed Sombra’s machine pistol.
