A Reddit user shared anOverwatch 2clip showing Mercy reviving one of her teammates right in time for them to perform a devastating attack and win the game. While Mercy’s rezzing ability is extremely helpful in mostOverwatch 2games, the timing of this action combined with the game-changing moment that followed makes this clip stand out.

More than any other competitive FPS,Overwatch 2relies heavily on team play to win games. EachOverwatch 2match pits two teams of five playersagainst each other, with one tank, two DPS, and two support heroes on each side in role queue mode. While DPS heroes often steal the spotlight with their devastating abilities, Support heroes are key to surviving and can make or break games.

Reddit user BenJayson shared a clip from a recent game showing an intense team fight won at the last second thanks to a Mercy revive. BenJayson’s team was defending the first point on Eichenwalde, dying under the assaults of Sojourn, Mei, Mercy, Baptiste, and D.Va. As the enemy Sojourn eliminated BenJayson’s Reaper, the Mercy player from their team successfully revived the Reaper, despite being under Sojourn’s fire. Reaper then rose from the dead to perform his ultimate ability, Death Blossom. Orisa helped gather the enemies with her Terra Surge, grouping them all to die inReaper’s Ultimate ability. BenJayson secured a quintuple kill, wiping the enemy team and winning the fight thanks to this last-second revive by Mercy. As they win the match thanks to this team synergy, Reaper used the shrugging emote while Orisa stated that “this is considerable” through one of her voice lines.
