Outridersfans who stopped playing might want to give the game another spin starting today, as People Can Fly and Square Enix are going to release an update that dramatically improves the base game. The update is calledNew Horizon, and it is completely free, despite it changing the very foundations ofOutridersin many ways, from Expeditions to customization. The update is going live shortly, and it will be available for all regions at the same time.
Outriders New Horizon Release Time
The newOutridersupdate was announced yesterday during a streaming event, and it is coming today, for free, on all platforms. This is a list of different times for multiple time zones, so as to allow everyone to jump on board at the right time:

There should be no maintenance forOutriders New Horizonto go live today, and players should expect to be able to download the update at the listed time for their region. The update should become automatically available on every console, although it might be necessary to reboot them in order to make it show up properly after the official launch time.
After the update is fully downloaded, players will be able to log into the game and experience the content ofOutriders New Horizonfor free, including thenew transmog system, which is very intuitive and requires no microtransactions nor in-game resources to use.
Another thing to note is thatOutridersplayers will now be able to skip the cinematic intro whenever they launch the game, which is part of theNew Horizonupdate, and the action is bound to a specific key or button.
Furthermore,New Horizonremoves the timers from Expeditions, effectively reshaping the entire endgame experience and meta inOutriders, opening up many build options. There will also be four all-new Expeditions to make the endgame feel more diverse even to those players who completed everything prior to today’s update.
As a reminder, this update does not include theWorldslayerexpansion, which was teased yesterday during the streaming event and will come sometime in 2022. As announced, People Can Fly and Square Enix will come back with more information aboutWorldslayerin the Spring of next year.
