Once Humanis a survival MMO that allows players to build their own homes inside their territory. Territory is the area in which the player can build freely, and players also being able tomove their territoryto wherever they want as long as it’s not within an already claimed territory.
Players can share a border with other players' territory, but the two can’t overlap. When players first start out, their territory will be fairly small with a limited number of things being built within. Players are able to upgrade their territory to not only increase the space they can build in, but also increase how much they can build.

How To Expand Your Territory In Once Human
Expanding your territory not only increases the amount of space you can build in but alsoincreases the total number of things you can build. To do this, players will first need to purchase theTerritory Expansionupgrade in the Building Memetic tree. This upgrade willcost 3 Ciphersand200 Energy Links. With this upgrade unlocked, go to your central Territory Terminal and select Territory Upgrade, hotkeyed to H. Despite this being a tier 3 upgrade, it doesn’t have any prerequisites and can be purchased right away if players have the materials.
Expanding your territory can only be done as long as your expansion doesn’t overlap with another player, so it’s often a good idea to move your territory before expanding it. Aside from purchasing the upgrade in the Memetic tree, therest of the upgrading process is done for free, more than doubling the space and things players can build.
Benefits Of Expanding Your Territory
There are only two levels that your territory can be, and players willonly need to upgrade it once as that upgrade is permanent. The benefits for upgrading your territory more than double what can be done, and should be one of the first upgrades players should get.

It will be a while before players hit the limits of level 1 as they will only becrafting a few things such as guns, but it is worthwhile the upgrade your territory early to at least get the benefits of the increased area. Most players will be forced to add levels to their houses over time, and building a large foundation right from the start can make later expansions much easier for those wanting their houses to look the best.
