Today,Xboxannounced via a Youtube video on their official channel what is to come at the September 2019 Inside Xbox press conference. The 20 second teaser was jam packed with teasers for new games and hints about what is to come from the future of Xbox.

The video today set the date of the next Inside Xbox live stream as September 24 at 3PM PST. On that stream, it is promised that Xbox will show off thelatest xCloud developments, share more details about the XO19 fan event in London, and premiere new games and additions to Xbox Game Pass.

The biggest of the game announcements was that the stream would preview a new look atThe Outer Worlds. The Obsidian developed RPG in the vein ofFalloutis releasing on Game Pass later this year. Presumably also coming to Game Pass are a list of heavy hitting titles includingHitman 2andDayZ.

The list also included some upcoming indie and third party games includingAfterparty, Felix The Reaper, and souls-likeCode Vein. Presumably, all of these games will launch onGame Passeither on the 24th during the livestream or sometime in late September or early October.Code Veinis scheduled for a September 27 release date, andAfterpartyandChildren of Mortawere just slated for October. However,Felix The Reaper, a gorgeous and bizarre puzzle rhythm comedy starring Death, did not yet have a date.

The latest word on xCloud was that it is launching in October, so seeing Microsoft devote a lengthy portion of the presentation to demoing this tech would not be a surprise. The developments at Xbox are exciting to see as we move into the next generation of consoles, still unsure of wherestreaming with xCloud and Stadiaare going to fit.

Another forthcoming event is theconfirmed XO19 event, which was recently revealed in August by Aaron Greenberg, the general manager of Xbox Games Marketing. The three day event is set for November 14-16 this winter in London. Greenberg called it the “biggest Inside Xbox event of the year.” XO19 could be where Microsoft shows off Project Scarlett and what the next Xbox may be. This means we certainly are not getting an announcement that big next week, but hopefully Phil Spencer drops a few hints at what is to come in November.
