EvilVEvil,a fast-paced vampire shooter that features cooperative play, is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S machines soon. A trailer for the title came out earlier this year, showing a game that emphasized movement and player freedom.
Several vampire-themed games are slated to arrive on the PS5 in 2024, including the roguelike shoot ‘em upVampire Survivorsand the action RPGV Rising, the latter of which recently released its 1.0 build on PC. While not as well-known as the two previous titles, one more vampire-themed game, this time anFPS, is also scheduled to launch on Sony’s current-generation console this year.
Developed by Toadman Interactive,EvilVEvilis a co-op vampire shooter that comes out on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on July 16. Players can enjoy the game solo or join forces with up to two of their fellow undead brethren in a battle against the forces of darkness. Much likeV Risingwith its extensive customization system,EvilVEvilwill provide gamers with the freedom to craft their perfect vampire warriors. The upcoming title seemingly plays a lot like Arkane Austin’sRedfall, a game that focuses on movement, the calculated use of skills, and weapon customization.
Toadman Interactive previously worked onImmortal: Unchained, aDark Souls-inspired action RPG from 2018 that focused on futuristic firearms. It also published the survival horror gameWestmark Manorthat was released in 2020. DespiteImmortal: Unchainedcurrently having a Mixed overall rating on Steam, it is regarded by some as being one of thebest shooter Soulslike gamesalongside the likes ofRemnant: From the AshesandOutward.

On its website, Toadman Interactive claimed that it was involved in the development ofThe Lord of the Rings Online,DC Universe Online, andEverquest, which is considered to be among themost influential MMOs of all time. As for newer titles, Toadman Interactive helped in developingMechwarrior 5: Merceneries,Planetside 2, and the Chaos Wastes update forWarhammer: Vermintide 2.
A character trailer forEvilVEvilwill be unveiled at the Guerilla Collective Online Showcase on June 6. Those interested in the game will be able to try out a demo during the upcoming Steam Next Fest, which will run from June 10 and June 17. Theprevious Steam Next Festfeatured a number of memorable games like the card-based roguelikeDiceomancerand the atmospheric survival gamePacific Drive.
