With recent episodes and chapters, theMy Hero Academiaseries has gotten more brutal in killing off heroes. After all members of the League of Villains were captured due to Best Jeanist’s sudden return, they had little hope of escape, particularly with Tomura Shigaraki being out of commission. However, after Mr. Compress revealed his backstory and quirk, he began using his quirk to mutilate his body to free Best Jeanist’s ropes and escape his binding. With that, he was able to ensure the league survived and escaped.

Throughout theMy Hero Academiaseries, Himiko Togaserved as Uraraka’s rivalin love and in ability. The duo faced each other many times, and their battle finally came to an end in a way that not many expected. Himiko has always been more of a circumstantial villain due to her quirk and the way society shunned it.

During the final war, Uraraka understood and saw Himiko’s inner beauty, accepting her. With Uraraka on her last legs, Himiko deigned to use her quirk to save her bygiving her a blood transfusionat the cost of her own life, as she was also severely weakened.

To ensure All Might and Gran Torino lived, Nana Shimura didn’t run away from All For One to extend her life but instead decided to face him. Although she eventually died, her sacrifice wasn’t in vain, as All Might was able to escape to America with One For All, where he met friends who continue to help him to this day.

However, being the type of hero that he is, Lemillion uses his body to shield her, fully aware that he will lose his quirk. Even after getting shot and sacrificing his quirk for Eri, Lemillion continued to fight against Overhaul, showing his dedication to being a hero for others.

For most of the war, Aizawa used his quirk to stop Shigaraki from decaying everything around him. However, without a shred of hesitation, Aizawa cut off his leg so he could keep his quirk and keep Shigaraki at bay. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out as planned, but the scene of Aizawa’s leg leaving his body will forever be remembered as one ofMy Hero Academia’s most impactful moments.

Right from the Forest Training Camp arc, Shigaraki and Bakugo always had some sort of tussle between them, and during the final battle against the heroes, Shigaraki sought to end their fight for good. In the final battle against Shigaraki and All For One, Bakugo, Edgeshot, Best Jeanist, and some other heroesserved as UA’s protectors.

For Shigaraki, who had always sought to emotionally handicap Deku, killing Bakugo was a good choice, and when he had the chance, he ripped the young hero’s heart into shreds. Without a doubt, this was the momentBakugo was set to die; however, with the old generation of heroes paving the way for the new generation, Edgeshot made a bet on Bakugo and decided to sacrifice his life by using his Foldabody quirk to enter Bakugo’s organs and stitch them together, ultimately allowing Bakugo to live.
