PopularTwitchstreamers are known to get hit by bans from time to time as more eyes are upon them and more pressure is applied to obey terms of service once they’ve signed a contract. The recentTwitch ban of Dimitri “GreekGodx” Antonatoshas garnered the attention of streamers and viewers alike, including One True King founder Mizkif.
During a livestream on June 28 that was spotted by Dexerto, Mizkif reacted, like many other streamers already have, to the GreekGodxTwitchrant that may have resulted in a ban. The rant included a number of possible terms of service violations, but according to GreekGodx, who has spoken out since being banned, his ban was actually the result of twerking for his live audience. Mizkif and GreekGodx have a history with each other, but during the aforementioned stream, Mizkif reveals that the banned Twitch streamer has been mad at him for quite some time.

Mizkif revealed during his June 28 livestream that he firmly believes GreekGodx is mad at him for taking his place on Twitch as the “unfunny fat guy.” “I took it and I destroyed it,” continued Mizkif as he stood by his livestreaming abilities in response to GreekGodx, who remains banned on Twitch. Mizkif also hints during his livestream reaction to GreekGodx’s Twitch rant that the banned streamer was “always very wary” of him ever since he was new to the Amazon platform. Although GreekGodx maintains a successful Twitch following of over one million, Mizkif has reached over two million in recent years despitea few breaks from Twitchwhich may add to his competitive comments.
According toTwitch’s Mizkif, GreekGodx hasn’t held his current position on women for very long, and he suggested that the banned streamer has been influenced by someone else to feel as he does. “He was not like this man, he just wasn’t,” said Mizkif during the livestream before going on to state that he believes GreekGodx has listened to a questionable TED talk from someone with confidence that caused him to take an extreme position. “I don’t think Greek had these kinds of takes a year ago, even two years ago,” stated Mizkif before some stunned silence as he compared GreekGodx to a child that sees a shiny object and is easily swayed.
Because GreekGodx’s rant included some sexist connotations, many of the comments in Mizkif’s chat expressed doubt about the authenticity of the angry tangent and agreement with Mizkif. It’s currently unclear what GreekGodx has to say in response to Mizkif, but prominent streamer xQc had some harsh words for theTexas streaming communitywhen reacting to the situation on his Twitchchannel.
