Summary
WhileMinecraft’s Blaze mob has been an iconic creature of the Nether realm since the game’s early days, the recent introduction of a new yet similar mob has encouraged some creative fans to create designs for potential future elemental creatures that could be seen in the game. Until the air-themed Breeze mob was shown off, it seemed like the Blaze was just a one-off type of mob - but nowMinecraftfans are beginning to wonder if the game’s developers are hinting at a plan to create mobs representing the four elements of fire, air, water, and earth.
The Breeze is a mob that many fans may not yet be aware of, with this new monster first being announced during this year’s Minecraft Live event back in October. Similar in physical appearance to the fiery Blaze mobfound exclusively inMinecraft’s Nether fortresses, the Breeze seems to be an elemental creature found solely in the Overworld instead. It hasn’t found its way into the full version of the game yet though, but fans playing on the latest experimental snapshot version ofMinecraftcan encounter the Breeze exclusively in certain trial spawners found in the trial chamber structures that have also been introduced with the latest snapshot.

WithMinecraftnow seemingly starting a trend of similarly-designed “elemental” mobs, it doesn’t seem too wild to expect similar elementals of water and earth to appear in the game in the future. This idea led one creatively-talentedMinecraftfan going by the name Vostok32 to design their own interpretations of what these missing mobs could look like. The two fanmade mobs were appropriately named the Brine and the Bore, somewhat in keeping with the naming pattern consistent withMinecraft’s Blaze and Breeze mobs. The shared designs include details which make them quite reminiscent of the two existing elemental mobs, with some fans even considering these designs to look like they’re straight out of the actual game.
While fans have been able to delve deep underground to exploreMinecraft’s new trial chambers for some time now, much remains unknown about these mysterious structures. They’ve been teased to be abig part ofMinecraft’s next major updateand, aside from being built from a variety of new blocks and copper appliances, house multiple dungeon-like rooms which pit players against hordes of monsters. While the structures themselves, their functionality, and their loot tables have not yet been finalized by developers, it looks like they’ll be a good source of useful treasure while also presenting an interesting challenge to players.
Perhaps one of the biggest mysteries of the trial chambers beside the new Breeze mob which inhabits them are the trial keys themselves, which can be obtained from these structures as rewards. These keys don’t have any purpose inMinecraft’s latest snapshot build, leading fans to speculate whether they’ll be used to unlock some new type of chest or something else entirely.
