Summary
Deadpool and Wolverineis going to have a field day with iconic Marvel cameos—the Super Bowl 58 trailer alone gave glimpses of Alioth, Pyro, and Cassandra Nova, for instance, with many more characters already supposedly leaked or hidden thus far. This is now a terrific opportunity for a game likeMarvel Snapthat relies on the MCU for a healthy helping of its seasonal content.
The simplest and most likely outcome will be forMarvel Snapto feature a debut card for the Season Pass such as Cassandra Nova and toss in associable variants for Deadpool and Wolverine. However,Deadpool and Wolverinewill be far more all-encompassing and it would make for a special season of content ifMarvel Snapcould reflect that in kind.

‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ Brings the Merc with a Mouth to the MCU
The MCU Being Saved by Deadpool Would Be a Cause for Celebration
It wouldn’t be outlandish to say that the MCU’s stellar quality has diminished, even if there are arguments to be made about when exactly that decline began taking place. It’s impossible to tell howDeadpool and Wolverinewill turn out based on a single trailer that doesn’t even commit to fully showing Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, but it does look precisely like a thirdDeadpoolmovie unflinchingly and unapologetically.
This means Disney didn’t trample all over it or have too short of a leash on it, which is evident in Disney agreeing to take the brunt of a racy joke early in the trailer. Deadpool arriving in the MCU—against his will or not—requires nothing less, and as Wade Wilson himself says,Deadpool and Wolverinecould be the wrench that completely realigns and rehabilitates the MCUfrom its slump.

If nothing else,Marvel Snapis inevitably going to have a season devoted toDeadpool and Wolverine, but Second Dinner will hopefully have something more special in mind as a way to celebrate what could presumably bethe most impactful Marvel movie sinceEndgameand until the nextAvengers.
Marvel Snap Should Dedicate Multiple Seasons or Events to Deadpool 3
Not only doesDeadpool and Wolverinebring Wade to the MCU but everyone else that tags along or has a cameo, and that includes Wolverine. TheMCU has been incredibly shy about introducing X-Menand mutants before finally revealing Beast in a post-credits sequence forThe Marvels, and yetDeadpool and Wolverinewill be blowing the lid off of that secret with an atom bomb.
Because there will be so much the movie touches on from deep, forgotten corners of the Marvel universe before it gets swept up in a connected universe,Marvel Snapwould do well by it to have content that can cover all of that. LikeMarvel Snap’s Hellfire Gala or other variant album collections, perhapsDeadpool and Wolverinecould receive its own album composed of a ton of different variants for characters who appear in the movie, for example.
Deadpool’s Paid His Dues in Past Marvel Games
Deadpool has starred in his own eponymous game and featured in countless Marvel ensemble games with his most recent outing as thefirst post-launch DLC character available inMarvel’s Midnight Suns.Marvel Snap’s Deadpool has only ever been effective in destroy decks, and yet the character could have a remarkably exciting summer inMarvel Snapif Second Dinner plays its cards right and knows to put a bit more emphasis onDeadpool and Wolverinecontent than other MCU-related seasons.
