That’s why programs like Microsoft’sXbox All Accessexist, which make it easier for customers to purchase an Xbox Series X or Series S, by allowing participating retailers to charge customers for the hardware and a 2-year subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate over a series of 24 monthly payments instead of all at once. Now GAME, the largest games retailer in the United Kingdom, has opted to drop the program by July 13, 2025,according to a report from Eurogamer.

UK Retailer GAME to Drop Xbox All Access Program

The Eurogamer report does not specify why GAME has decided to drop support for the program, but did note that GAME is the largest of three retailers in the UK that support it. In the US,major retail chains like Walmartand Target, as well as tech-focused stores like Best Buy and Gamestop support the Xbox All Access program.

GAME has gone through some major changes in recent weeks and months. Earlier stories published by Eurogamer noted that GAME had scrapped its GAME Rewards membership and trade-in programs, as well. GAME’s parent company, the Frasers Group, is replacing multiple GAME outlets in the UK with other stores from the group. In a statement, GAME said that the decision to drop Xbox All Access will not affect any existing customers.

Meanwhile, Microsoft stood by its support for Xbox All Access in the UK, saying it would continue to be offered by participating retailers, including Smyths Toys and 4Gadgets. The company seems to have seen good returns from the program, since it has maintained it since 2018, with the Xbox One.Microsoft expanded Xbox All Accessto cover the Xbox Series X and Series S in 2020.
