Lost Judgmenthas finally been officially revealed and the game looks to be an epic follow-up to the original title that released back in 2018.Lost Judgment’s release dateof September 24 was revealed at the event, as well the available platforms the game will launch on.

Unfortunately, it seems like PC players won’t be gettingLost Judgmenton release, as the game has only been confirmed for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Additionally, Sega has given an official comment saying the company has “no plans” to bringLost Judgmentto PC at the moment.

The confirmation itself came about thanks to publication PC Gamer reaching out to Sega for clarification. A representative responded, with Sega’s full statement reading, “The game is being announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Sega has no plans to bringLost Judgmentto PC at this time.” While it seems clear thatLost Judgmentwill only release on Sonyand Xbox consoles, there’s plenty of room in that statement forLost Judgmentto eventually make its way onto PC. Though 2018’sJudgmenthasn’t made its way to PC yet, plenty of otherYakuzatitles are available on the platform.

Just recently,Yakuza: Like a Dragonlaunched on PC, which many fans thought would be the norm going forward. Still, there’s plenty of time forJudgmentto make its way onto PC in the future, especially if the next generation versions of the game perform well. Interestingly, however, is that Sega Japan originally hadLost Judgmentlisted for Windows 10 and Steam alongside the confirmed consoles listed, but that information has since been removed. Additionally, the Steam logo was found within the webpage’s source code, leading to further speculation.

This information was initially discovered byYakuzafan site Tojo Dojo, who initially broke the story thatLost Judgmentwas in developmentat RGG Studios. Additionally, video game reporter Wario64 tweeted out similar findings on Twitter. If this information is indeed correct Sega may very well have plans to releaseLost Judgmenton PC sometime in the future. Considering the game was listed to be coming to PC on official promotional material, it seems fairly likely it will come to pass eventually.

For now though, only console players will be able to playLost Judgmentat launch. However, one silver lining is that players in the West won’t have to wait months to get their hands on the localized version, asLost Judgmentis getting a simultaneous global releasefor the first time in RGG Studio’s history. Additionally, all future games in theYakuzaseries will be released simultaneously as well. So, while it looks as though PC players will have to wait a bit to playLost Judgment, there is a fair amount of hope for the game to come to PC eventually.

Lost Judgmentwill be available on September 24 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
