The library of Marvel skins inFortnitecontinues to grow, and the Guardians of the Galaxy are the latest bunch of characters to jump into the Battle Royale, but do they have what it takes toclaim the Victory Royale? The Guardians of the Galaxy have surged in popularity thanks to James Gunn’s MCU trilogy, and just a year after the swansong ofGuardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, some iconic characters areimmortalized inFortnitewith Chapter 5 Season 2.
Whether it’s as an empath, a destroyer, or a tree that can only say his name, the Guardians of the Galaxy are entirely unique, and their venture intoFortnitemakes for a perfect collab to add to the Marvel collection, paving the way for even more MCU skins to come to Fortnite in the future.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Pack
Players can pick up 3 members of the Guardians of the Galaxy by heading to theFortniteItem Shop from 11 June 2025 and scrolling down to the paid bundles. From here, players can locate the Guardians of the Galaxy Pack, which will cost $28.99 (USD). This pack can be found across all platforms, and will leave the Item Shop on June 3rd, 8 PM ET. With a bundle like this leaving, it’s unpredictable if it will ever return, as collabs can be tricky with licensing issues, and these skins do not cost V-Bucks, but instead real money. Either way, here’s a closer look at the pack, and the contents involved, which include:
With 10 cosmetics, including 3 outfits, 3 back blings, 3 pickaxes, and 2 emotes, it’s up to players to determine whether it’s worth a purchase of below $30. For those who want to see these cosmetics up close, they can find just that below.

Drax Outfit
From Destroyer to new father figure for the Star Children.
The Drax outfit is more reminiscent of his original design from his first MCU movie, considering he isn’t wearing a shirt, and seems rather angry about being here. Drax has easily been one of the funniest members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, with a great golden heart within his fiery temper, and now players can utilize that in the Battle Royale. For added cuteness, it even comes with an adorable LEGO figure for the LEGOFortnitemodes.
Drax’s Blades Back Bling / Pickaxe
Forged from a metal alloy on Drax’s homeworld of Kylos.
Featuring both Back Bling and Pickaxe, Drax’s blades are incredibly detailed in their symbols and their sharpness. Drax has used these multiple times in the movies, so it’s great to see them featured here. Players can equip them as a set or separately, but if they have the Back Bling equipped, then players will pull these knives from their sheath to use them as a Pickaxe.
Young Adult Groot Outfit
He loves you guys.
Whilst not the first Groot, both in terms of lineage and inFortnite, Young Adult Groot is definitely the most detailed. His skin looks great, as if it was taken straight from the libraries ofGuardians of the Galaxy Vol.3. The moss around the bark, and the detail in his design, help to make this swole tree a great choice to run with, even if his LEGO figure variant is more cute than muscular.
Groot holds the high score but no one else gets a chance to play.

When Groot was a teenager, his love for video games grew, and now, players can take that gaming system into battle with them. It’s a cute retro back bling, and features an 8-bit version ofFortniteon the screen.
Flora Colossus Fist Pickaxe
Created by Groot. Wielded by anyone that needs a hand.
A pretty violent pickaxe, the Flora Colossus Fist seems like it packs a punch thanks to the size of the closed fist made of bark. It’s comedically large, and looks huge depending on the character wielding it, but at the end of the day, it’s still a normal pickaxe that grants no tactical advantage, unless the advantage is looking good with a giant fist pickaxe.
Mantis Outfit
Resident empath Guardian with a knack for helping you sleep.
Mantis is a valued member of the Guardians and the half-sister of Peter Quill. Whilst Mantis may often be the butt of the joke, she definitely deserves a spot on the team, and she’s a welcome addition to theFortnite team. Just try not to aim for her antenna, as that would be pretty rude.
Lil Abilisk Back Bling
They eat batteries. Not people.
Trust Mantis to find the love and understanding in even the scariest of creatures. Luckily for this little critter, Mantis has become fond of it, even if it does have an addiction to eating batteries. Lil Abilisk is a cute back bling that will look around, clench the battery it holds, and even dribble and drool.
Insectoid Claws Pickaxe
Mantis' raptorial leg-like tools for when the empathic powers are not the right touch.
Sometimes, being an empath doesn’t work out, and these sharp claws will certainly get the point across in a variety of violent ways. The Insectoid Claws are pretty creepy, and their design of being a pair of Mantis arms is great thinking from Epic Games, but still, it is just a dual-pickaxe that doesn’t feature in the MCU.

Zargnut Invisibility Emote
Master the ability of standing so incredibly still that you become “invisible” to the eye.
One of the best emotes inFortnite, and one of the funniest scenes in the MCU, the Zargnut Invisibility emote features the player character standing still, slowly munching away on a pack of Zargnuts. The emote loops, and the crunching between silences really make this a comedic emote, even if they aren’t actually invisible, but just watching a fight they’d rather not be a part of.

Potted Groot Dance Emote
Move to the groove, but only when they ain’t watching.
One of the more adorable scenes of the series has Baby Groot dancing in his pot after just growing. It’s paired wonderfully with an early Michael Jackson song, but sadly, that song does not feature in the emote, so instead, players will just be waving their arms around like an inflatable tube man.
