The newest champion has arrived to lay waste to theFortniteisland, and with Megalo Don presenting himself as a fierce competitor, players might want to know where he is to face an extraordinary challenge for some truly amazing loot. Megalo Don might be strong, but it’s a high risk high reward fight that will see players earn the loot that could very well change the tides of the game, and give them thatmuch-needed Victory Royale.
FortniteChapter 5 Season 3 brings the apocalyptic wasteland to the island, and players might find a few raiders and ruffians roaming the wastes in search of survivors to battle. In finding Megalo Don, players best be prepared for an intense fight.

Where to Find Megalo Don
Megalo Don is one of the bosses inFortniteChapter 5 Season 3, and he will spawn the moment the match starts. As players get ready to jump from the Battle Bus, they should check the map to locate a gold icon with a skull emblem in the center. This icon moves around the map in real-time, and it’s a tracker for Megalo Don’s current location.
Megalo Don will sometimes spawn at Brutal Beachheader. However, other times he will cruise around the map on his Behemoth vehicle, and this is when players have to resort to following his icon to find him.

When players do find him, they will discover he’s not alone. Joining Megalo Don is a War Bus, containing at least 3 minions, with two on the War Bus' turrets and the other one driving. In Megalo Don’s own vehicle, he’s joined by at least two minions, a passenger, and someone on the grenade launcher turret. If he spawns in his base, several minions will be roaming around the place as well.
How to Beat Megalo Don
To beat Megalo Don, players are first going to need a vehicle. This is mainly to reach him, as Megalo Don is going to be driving around the map, so catching him on foot will not be easy. Whilst driving, try tofind vehicle modificationsand other upgrades to turn a standard vehicle into a war machine capable of duking it out with a War Bus and Megalo Don’s own prized car.
To start, it’s important to shoot the War Bus' gunners, as these turrets can pack a punch. With them taken care of, try and get Megalo Don’s attention by dealing damage to his prized car, or shooting inside the windows. Players will want to do enough damage to Megalo Don’s vehicle so that he leaves it and decides to battle with his enraged fists rather than behind the wheel.

The priority should be killing Megalo Don’s minions, as there’s no need to add extra firepower to a fight that is already going to potentially take some shield, health, and a lot of bullets. At this point, it’s also a good idea to hijack Megalo Don’s vehicle and use his grenade launcher turret against him and his minions.
In fighting Megalo Don, he has the option of using his Mythic Combat Shotgun, or his Mythic Nitro Fists, which means he is a very close-range fighter. Players should keep a distance with assault rifles and SMGs and aim for his head, dealing enough damage so he activates Nitro.

With his Nitro active, Megalo Don will glow red, and attempt to punch, slam, and charge at players. Jump and avoid these attacks and keep shooting him until he is eliminated, and he will drop an abundance of set loot as a reward.
Megalo Don’s Loot
When Megalo Don is eliminated, he will drop the following items every time:
It’s likely that Megalo Don will drop other items, like Med Kits, Ammunition, and even Small Shields, but the main focus of his loot pool is his Mythics and Medallions, and lastly, to mention the vehicle that he leaves behind, Megalo Don’s Behemoth.

Megalo Don’s Nitro Fists
Unleash the fiery flurry of punches and uppercuts with Megalo Don’s Nitro-fueld gauntlets.
Much like the standard Nitro Fists found in the game, these utility weapons do a great job at helping enemies escape thanks to the uppercut with the Target button and the punch with Fire button.

Players can negate fall damage by using any of the two moves, and they can press Fire three times for a powerful combo that sends enemies backward. Even better, the Mythic Nitro Fists have a charge of five, meaning players can wait less between uppercuts.
Megalo Don’s Combat Shotgun
Megalo Don’s own Shotgun crafted for intense long range and long lasting combat.
The Combat Shotgun is already good, but bring in this Mythic variant, and anyone on the other end of the barrel is in for a bad time thanks to the attachments and damage modifiers found below:

Megalo Don’s Behemoth Stats
While players can craft their own selection of modified vehicles, Megalo Don’s Behemoth easily stands as the best. Not only is its health pool at least over 2,000 hit points, but the constant use of Nitro means it will never run out of fuel, and the boost is forever rechargeable.
Players will also have a Spiked Bumper, which allows them to deal increased damage to players and objects, causing between 70 to 140 damage upon hitting enemy players, and instantly destroying structures when hit. Hitting objects and people will also produce Nitro to further fuel player’s rampage.
Players also have the Grenade Launcher Bot, a passenger-controlled Bot with a Grenade Launcher that can lay waste to enemies thanks to its rapid fire and splash damage for around 60 points per hit.
Lastly, the tires on Megalo Don’s vehicle are bulletproof, which provides an indestructible edge to his ride, and are further aided by the passive healing of the vehicle.
