When players are in a pinch against another team, fall damage, or attempting to outpace the dreaded storm, there’s one utility item that they can count on: the Med-Mist.Fortnitefeatures plenty of utility items to aid players and keep them alive, but it’s perhaps the Med-Mist that serves as one of the most useful thanks to its quick use and capacity.

If players want to seek out the best healing items inFortnite’s Battle Royale, then the Med-Mist just might be the one for them. Saving players in a pinch when low on health, this item deserves a slot in everyone’s inventory, or else they may just return to the lobby withouta Victory Royale crown.

Where to Find Med-Mists

Med-Mists spawn in the Uncommon rarity, but that doesn’t mean players won’t find an abundance of them. Med-Mists arefound most commonly in chests, but they can also be found as floor loot and supply drops. If players are seeking out the Med-Mist specifically, then it’s a good try to head to POIs with a bounty of unopened chests to see what’s available. More often than not, players should find one scattered, even in looted areas, since most players will opt to take Chug Splashes orother shield items.

Med-Mists will heal players, team members, hired characters, and even enemy players.

Players need to press the fire button to use the Med-Mist on themselves, which will see them spray themselves with its healing powers.Players will be granted 5HP every 1 tick. If players want toheal others, then they need to hold the aim button, which will show their character holding the Med-Mist and spraying it in front of them, but those who want to be healed will have to stand pretty close.

Med-Mists are great healing items for mobility since they can be used during almost all states of movement. That includes sliding, and jumping, but not sprinting. This means that if players are getting shot whilst on the retreat, they can keep themselves healed, or keep it handy for use in the storm, especially since the storm mainly ticks for 1HP’sworth of damagein the first few circles.

Unlike the Bandages,Med-Mist can fully heal players back to 100 HP, but players can only carry one. The carry size shouldn’t matter too much, aseach Med-Mist contains 150 HPto spray onto friends and themselves. Even the players who hire NPCs as allies can use Med-Mists to keep them in the fight for longer.
