Unfortunately, most of these Incantations are outshone by those found in the base game, leaving players scratching their heads as to why they were included in the first place.Fire Serpentis one of the few exceptions. Here is where to find it.
Fire Serpent Spell Overview & Stat Requirements
Incantation of the Fire Knights under Messmer the Impaler’s personal command. When the flame they received from Messmer would not find purchase within them, the Fire Knights relied on fire incantations to honor their bond.
InElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree,Fire Serpent is a new Incantation of the Messmer Fire category. It summons a small orb of fire near the player that after a slight pause, zooms towards the target and deals damage. While the damage the orb does is decent, it is the tracking that makes it one of the best incantations in the entire DLC. The fire orb tracks enemies extremely well, travels a far distance, and rarely lets anyone dodge out of the way. And best of all, it has a very low FP cost, making it very spammable.
The Fire Serpent Incantationcosts 11 FP to cast, and can be charged for greater potency. To equip Fire Serpent, youmust have 1 Memory Slotavailable.
Launch a serpentine flame that bends and curls in pursuit of its foe. Charging enhances potency.
Like all Messmer Incantations, Fire Serpent’s effectiveness is boosted by wearingMessmer’s ArmorandMessmer’s Helm, and using theFire Knight Seal.

Where To Find Fire Serpent Location
The Fire Serpent Incantation can be foundnear the Storehouse, Back Section Site of Grace. This place cannot be accessed from the main section of the Storehouse. To reach this place, players will have to follow the route from Moorth Ruins in Scadu Altus to Bonny Village, then to the Church District, and finally take the elevator that circles back to the Storehouse from the underground. After reaching the Site of Grace, you’ll notice a ladder on the balcony near it leading upward. Use the ladder, ignore the Fire Knight looking out the window, and take the stairs on the right. At the far end of the next floor will be a small balcony with a corpse to the right. Pick up the item on the corpse to get theFire Serpent Incantation.
