Until July 23, 2025, Epic Games is bringing backStar Warscontent toFortnite. To celebrate May the 4th (a day all aboutStar Wars), Lightsabers will be available to find on the battle royale island and newStar Wars-themed quests,Stormtroopers, and more.
ForFortniteplayers that would like to complete the batch of May the 4th quests and take advantage of the unvaulted content, getting hold of one ofStar Wars' iconic Lightsabers should be the first thing to do. There are four color variations for the Lightsaber, each named after aStar Warscharacter:

How to Get a Lightsaber in Fortnite
Lightsabers can be found inFortniteSeason 2 as Floor Loot and inside of chests. To have the best chance of finding one, look in areas with lots of loot, such as the namedpoints of interest like Tilted Towers. Each type ofLightsaber will have a glowing yellow auraaround it, making it a tad bit easier to spot.
How to Use a Lightsaber in Fortnite
Once players pick up the Lightsaber, it will take up one of the inventory slots like any other weapon. Use the right trigger to pull off a powerful melee combo and the left trigger to block. While blocking with the saber, it’ll negate most damage from shots coming head-on. However, don’t expect it to stop incoming attacks from the sides or the back.
Fortnite May the 4th Star Wars Quests
As soon asFortniteplayers acquire a Lightsaber, they can use it to complete some quests for May the 4th efficiently. First, find some opponents to fight with and thenblock ten hits with the Lightsaber. And as long as players carry the Lightsaber whilesurviving a storm phase, that’s another quest that can be checked off the to-do list.
As for the other quests, players can find the E-11 Blaster Rifle by trading their Gold Bars at one of the Stromtrooper Checkpointsaround the map. The gun can also be found in chests and as floor loot. Speak to one of the Stormtroopers to take on a bounty, and then complete it to wrap up another quest.
