On the western edge of Hyrule, the Tauyosipun Shrine waits for players to decipher its puzzles inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The shrine contains several challenges revolving aroundthe use of Recalland the player’s ability to find creative solutions.

Tauyosipun Shrine Location in TotK
Tauyosipun Shrine is located on the western edge of the Hebra region near the foot of the Hebra West Summit.
The coordinates for the Tauyosipun Shrine’s position inTears of the Kingdomare -4539, 2881, 0262, and it can be easily reached by launching from the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower and gliding northwest. It will be sitting out in the open among the snowy backdrop.
Tauyosipun Shrine Walkthrough
Within the Tauyosipun Shrine are four puzzles dealing with the application of Recall to control the movement of large stone balls. Each one focuses on a different way that players are able to creatively implement Recall to overcome obstacles.
How to Solve the First Puzzle in the Tauyosipun Shrine
Players are immediately presented with a puzzle as they enter the shrine: large stone balls drop from a dispenser overhead and roll down Link’s only pass.
To overcome this obstacle, players should use Recall on one of the balls that have just dropped from the dispenser. It will rise back up into the dispenser to block further balls from being released and allow Link to progress to the next area.
How to Get the Hidden Chest in the Tauyosipun Shrine
At the top of the ramp, players will find a wheel with a dispenser. A chest will continuously drop from the dispenser and into the void as the wheel turns counterclockwise to throw it away.
Players simply need to use Recall tochange the rotation of the wheelclockwise. This should cause the chest to land safely on solid ground, allowing players to open it and claim aConstruct Bow.
How to Solve the Second Puzzle in the Tauyosipun Shrine
In the next room, players will find another ball dispenser as well as a glowing ball and switch on their platform. Standing on the switch will close the gates at the end of the ramp pictured above, catching the ball that drops from the dispenser.
Players should thenuse Ultrahandto lift the glowing ball and place it on the other side of the stone ball caught by the gate. However, they should make sure that theydo not attach the ball.
Once in position, Link can use the Recall ability to reverse the movement of the dispenser’s stone ball and send it back up the ramp.
This will push the glowing ball up the ramp with it until it reaches the back edge where it will fall into the goal and unlocks the door to the next room.
How to Solve the Third Puzzle in the Tauyosipun Shrine
For the third puzzle, players will see a glowing ball falling from above them along a series of two ramps. As the ball rolls down, players should use Recall as it moves over the gap between the two ramps as shown above.
Players should activate Recall on the ball and then quickly cancel the ability by pressing the L-Button again. This will have stopped the forward momentum of the ball and cause it to drop straight down into the goal below.
How to Solve the Fourth Puzzle in the Tauyosipun Shrine
The final room will challenge players to get another glowing ball into the goal in the corner. They should use Ultrahand to lift the ball onto the platform moving back and forth across that section of the room.
From whichever side the players first set the ball on the platform, they should walk to the other side and wait for the platform to return.
To clarify,the platform and the ball need to pass over the goal in the corner at least once to solve the puzzle.
Once it passes over the corner and comes back in range, players can remove it from the platform with Ultrahand and place it in from of them. Players should wait until the platform begins to move away from them again and use Recall on the ball.
Recall will reverse the ball’s path over the goal in the corner, and, once it is in the correct position, they can stop the ability to drop the ball into the goal.
Doing so will complete the final puzzle and allow players to head into the statue room andcollect their Light of Blessing.
