Honkai: Star Railhas given all the details about Guinaifen, revealing the character’s kit, backstory, rarity, and gameplay animations. It was leaked a few weeks ago thatHonkai: Star Railversion 1.4 will introduce players to Guinaifen, a fire unit that belongs to the Nihility path. The second half of this version also features the debut of a five-star character named Topaz, who hails from the Hunt path. Players can expect both units to be added to the current banner next week.
Guinaifen is an extroverted girl with a fun personality, manipulating fire to entertain people in her artistic performance. Her best friend has always beenHonkai: Star Rail’s Sushang, who gave her this Xianzhou name when they met years ago. It was already leaked that Guinaifen is a four-star fire character whose gameplay revolves around firecrackers. She will be a great addition to the roster of Nihility characters and give players a new option to upgrade their fire-based teams.
Honkai: Star Railhas revealed every detail about Guinaifen, giving players an insight into her kit and animations. The character throws dynamite to deal AoE damage and inflicts enemies with a burn state. Her idle animation looks simple but cool, showing Guinaifen juggling three balls in the air as if she is doing a street performance. She specializes in dealing fire damage, with the character’s Eidolon Levels boosting her offensive capabilities. As for Guinaifen’s ultimate, she hits a golden drum, calls three little pets that carry dynamite in their mouth, and creates an explosion to deal AoE damage.
Guinaifen’s elemental skill is called Blazing Welcome, dealing fire damage to all enemies. Her technique does the same for a set amount of time with a chance of inflicting Firekiss on them. She has a useful trace that allows Guinaifen to deal more damage to Burned enemies. Players will have to gather Artifex’s Module and Searing Steel Blade to ascend the upcoming fire unit. These valuable materials can be obtained by completingStagnant Shadow: Shape of Scorchand Simulated Universe.
Alongside Guinaifen, the second half of version 1.4 will addfive-star fire character Topazto the current banner. She hails from the Hunt path, deals more damage than many other units, and calls a little monster to help her in combat. Topaz seems to be a top-tier unit with DPS potential, with her trusty pet increasing her offensive capabilities. The second part ofHonkai: Star Railversion 1.4 is set to release on November 2.
