Before Min Min’s announcement, Byleth had been the latest DLC fighter forSmash Ultimateand the last one to close out the first fighter’s pass for the game. While some players were excited to see Byleth joining the game, others thought that the character was an underwhelming choice for the hype they were receiving. Min Min is having the opposite reaction, and while Twitter is also trending with fans who wantedTwinbelleto bring some diversity to the cast of white human fighters in the game, many are happy with Min Min’s inclusion toSmash.
Fans were also quick to point out that Min Min is the first female fighter added through theSmashexpansion passes. While the player can choose whetherBylethis a man or a woman inFire Emblem: Three Houses, theSmashfighter’s default is the masculine version with feminine portrayals of the character are only alternate costumes.
