Summary

There are lots of different enemies that players can come across while playing7 Days To Die.While some are relatively easy to take down, others are built like tanks. Not only that, but some zombies have special abilities that can be deadly to the player.

From zombies that can explode to ones that can jump, there are a few zombies that are deemed tough due to their special abilities. The zombies that the player will encounter willdepend on their game stage. However, there will come a point in every fan’s playthrough where they will encounter a handful of zombies that they aren’t able to beat.

Zombie Dog In 7 Days To Die

11Zombie Dog

Fast-Moving And Aggressive

While they aren’t the most deadly creatures in7 Days To Die,zombie dogs are hard to deal with early on. If the player is unlucky, then they may run into a pack of dogs within the first few days of their playthrough. Dogs are fast, hard-hitting, and have a higher chance than most other enemies of causing bleed damage.

If the player is caught off-guard, then they may find themselves in serious danger should they come under attack from a horde of hungry dogs. Since they move fast, they can be tricky to hit, especially with slow-moving weapons likethe sledgehammer and the spear. The best way to deal with these is by either slowing them down with spike traps or by using a ranged attack to take them down from a distance.

Zombie Vultures In 7 Days To Die

10Zombie Vulture

Can Cause Quite A Scare

Zombie vultures aren’t tough in the conventional sense. For the most part, a zombie vulture can be taken down in just one hit.Their power comes from their ability to fly. Zombie vultures are the only enemy in the game that can fly. They typically hang out on rooftops, just waiting to swoop down and frighten the player with almost zero warning.

Since they fly, they can be tricky to hit, especially if the player is using a melee weapon. Also, as they attack the player, their body blocks the player’s ability to see, which can cause them to be caught off-guard by approaching zombies. During horde nights, if the player tries tofly off in their Gyrocopterto avoid the undead onslaught, then they will be greeted by a swarm of angry zombie vultures that will force the player to land. The best way to take down these creatures is with the element of surprise. If the player can sneak up on a zombie vulture, then they can take it down before it has the chance to take flight.

Zombie Bear In 7 Days To Die

9Bears

Fast And Very Deadly

There are two main types of bears in7 Days To Die;regular bears and zombie bears. While zombie bears are much more dangerous than regular bears, regular bears still pack a punch. If the player is planning to take on a bear, then they should bring alongplenty of bullets.Bears move very fast, they also have devastating attacks that can break limbs, cause the player to bleed, and can kill the player in just a few hits.

Ranged attacks are the best way to take bears down. Also, when possible, players should try to use sneak attacks to get some extra damage. Keeping plenty of distance from a bear is the best way to take it down. As soon as it gets close, players will find themselves in a whole heap of trouble.

Spider Zombie In 7 Days To Die

8Spider Zombies

Jumping Zombies

Spider zombies aren’t particularly powerful, and they don’t have all that much health when compared to some of the other enemies in the game. What sets these creatures apart from most other zombies is their ability to jump. While that doesn’t sound like a powerful ability, players can end up getting cornered pretty easily by these hopping zombies.

Zombies have a relatively high chance of stunning the player by default. So, should the player find themselves trying to run away from an approaching horde only to be confronted by a spider zombie, they may end up being stunned and killed by a pesky spider. Like with most zombies, a couple of decent blows to the head should be enough to take down a spider zombie.

Fat Hawian In 7 Days To Die

7Radiated Zombies

Lots Of Different Types

Almost every standard zombie has a radiated version that can spawn. From the party girl to the businessman, each of the core zombie types has a radiated variant. The radiated variant is not only stronger, but they run during the daytime. Also, they regenerate health. If the player hits a radiated zombie, then they will almost immediately start to regenerate their lost health.

To prevent this from happening, the player can do one of two things: kill them as fast as possible, or use a weapon with the Rad Remover Mod to disable the zombie’s ability to regenerate health for 90 seconds when hit.

Mutated Zombie In 7 Days To Die

6Mutated Zombies

Toxic And Deadly

Mutated zombies take the crown for the ugliest in-game enemy. These puffed-out creatures are horribly irradiated zombies that canexcrete a radioactive slime that can seriously injure the player. Not only that, but when the player is affected by a mutated zombie, their screen will go blurry, and it will become hard to see what’s going on.

Thankfully, these creatures don’t have too much health, just be sure to aim for the area where a head would normally be. A few well-placed shotswith a decent weaponare usually enough to drop one of these creatures.

Screamer In 7 Days To Die

5Screamers

An XP Farm On Legs

Screamers come in three varieties; regular, feral, and radiated. While none of them are particularly desirable, the radiated ones are by far the most tanky. That said, they are relatively weak, and they don’t have particularly high health bars. What the Screamer does have is a good set of lungs. When a Screamer senses or sees the player, they will let out a blood-curdling scream that spawns a small group of zombies.

When a screamer summons more zombies, there’s a chance for one of the summoned zombies to be another screamer, and so the cycle continues. Screamers can be great for farming XP when done right. But, if the player is caught off-guard by a screamer, things can escalate very quickly. The best thing to do is to take down the screamer as fast as possible, by any means necessary.

Dire Wolf In 7 Days To Die

4Dire Wolf

A Red-Eyed Terror

Dire wolves are no joke in7 Days To Die.During the early stages of the game, if the player comes across one of these creatures, the only logical thing to do is run, fast! These creatures are tanky, hard-hitting, and they run at an alarming speed. One Dire Wolf is strong enough to kill a low-level player with just a handful of strikes.

These terrifying-looking creatures are not worth messing with early on. However, if the player can get in an elevated position and fire arrows or bullets down at a Dire wolf, then they can expect to receive a nice reward when it’s killed. Players are guaranteed to receive a loot drop from a Dire Wolf. The drop typically contains some ammo, a magazine or book, and a handful of other goodies.

Zombie Cop In 7 Days To Die

3Cop Zombies

Watch Out For Vomiting

Cop zombies are unique as they have two special abilities. The first is the ability to projectile vomit on the player. This sounds more unpleasant than dangerous, but the vomit they spit is very toxic and can cause quite a lot of damage to the player. Also, they can spit through things like bars and fences, making them a nightmare to hide from.

Their secondary ability is their ability to explode when they take damage. This can kill the player instantly if they are within the cop’s blast radius. The best thing to do when fighting a cop is to keep some distance. If a cop decides to explode, then he will do a small running animation before bending over and exploding. Use the animation time to make a quick escape to avoid getting caught up in the blast.

Demolition Zombie In 7 Days To Die

2Demolition Zombie

An Almighty Explosion

Demolition zombies are likely the last type of zombie that the player will come across. These enemies are normally reserved for high-level players due to their ability to blow up almost everything within a given area. These tanky super soldiers have plenty of health, and while they aren’t the hardest-hitting enemies in the game, they have a small flashing light on their chest. When this is hit, a ticking noise will start, followed bya huge bang that destroys everything within a few blocks.

During a Blood Moon, demolition zombies can bring down a player’s base if they aren’t careful. It’s important to try and avoid hitting the flickering light. Aim for the head or the legs. If the player accidentally sets off the ticking noise, then they should run and hide immediately.
